"Mandy, Mandy, wake up. I can't sleep. Mandy," I heard a thick voice beside me, shaking me trying to wake me up.

"Uh, eh what," I barely said, rubbing my eyes.

"I can't sleep," the voice said again.

Wait, isn't that Jai Brooks' angel voice?

I jumped out of bed, "Jai is that you?"

"Yea," he shifted nervously.

"And how the fuck did you get in here?" I asked.

"Well, the door was closed, so I climbed up that tree," he says pointing at the tall tree outside my window.

"What are you doing here? It's four am in the damn morning," I said looking at my night stand clock.

"I can't sleep," he said acting all innocent. Is this some kind of game?

"Can't you just talk to your brothers?" I asked.

"No, they are all asleep. And besides I want you, not them," he said.

"But its 4 am. I need to sleep," I said covering up my head with the blanket.

"But Mandy," he whined.

"Go back to your house and try to sleep," I said, pushing him off of my bed.

"I can't, I tried. I am not getting any sleep," he frowned.

"And what am I supposed to do?" I ask annoyed.

"Sing me a song," he stated the obviousness.

"What? No."

"Pretty please?" He said faking the puppy voice.

"Jai, I am no-"

"I will buy you McDonald's."

"You sure about that?"

"Positive."

"Well okay, what do you want me to sing for you?"

"A one direction song," he squealed.

"What makes you beautiful?" I asked, and he nodded.

"You're insecure, don't know what for
You're turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or.."

"Don't need makeup, to cover up,
Being the way that you are is eno-o-ough," Jai joined me.

He sang like an angel. I never knew he actually could sing.

Jai and I both started giggling.

"You know you have an amazing voice," Jai said moving a little closer to me.

Please don't do that to me. Please.

"Hah, me? Absolutely no."

"Yes, honey, yes you do have an amazing voice," he hugged me from my torso, from under the covers.

I started to sweat whenever Jai got closer to me. My heart was beating so fast; it's hard to just stay friends with him, with someone who gave you so much to remember. All I could think of right now was his lips glued on mine.

"Well you do too," I smiled.

"Can you go back home now, and let me sleep?" I asked moving his hands out of my torso.

"No can't do, babe," he wrapped his whole body around me, not giving me the chance to escape.

"But Jai, you know we can't," I whined.

"I want to spend the night here with you," he said kissing my left cheek.

My feelings are coming back, yes they are.
