Chapter Twelve

"Would you like to watch a film?" I ask handing him a whole box of Disney films. He nodded, "choose one."

"Do you have any Jim Carrey movies?" He asks. I look through the cabinet to find other films.

"Yes, I have Yes Man, Liar Liar, and Cable Guy," I say handing him the CDs.

"Let's watch Yes Man," he suggests.

I nod. "Do you want any snacks?"

"Yea."

What on earth are you doing, Amanda?

"I am back," I place the plates down on the table.
He smiles as he grabs a coke from the tray.

"Jim Carrey is really good," I say as the film ends.

"Yea," he stuffs some popcorn into his mouth.

"What are we going to do now?" he lays his back against the couch.

"I don't know; think of something creative," I got up and took the empty plates to the kitchen.

"I found it!" he yelled.

"What!" I yelled back making my way back to the living room.

"I know what we are going to do," he said

"Yea?"

"First things first, we need to buy some stuff."

"Stuff like what?"

"One, we need two scary masks, and two, we need some silly strings," he laughs.

"Well okay, but for what?"

"Stop asking! You'll see," he smirks.

After buying and paying for our stuff, Jai was now walking towards his house.

"Um Jai, my house is this way," I pointed at my house.

"Let's go to my place and scare the shit out of Luke and Beau," he said.

"Whatever you say," I giggled.

"Okay so first, we need to sneak upstairs and then boom! We scare them to death. Got it?" he explains the obviousness.

"Yes, sir."

Jai and I made our way upstairs silently and cautiously on our tiptoes.

"Okay, on three," he whispered.

"One.."

"Two."

"Three!"

Jai kicked the door wide open, and we both started spraying our silly strings and shouting like idiots.
Both Luke and Beau jumped in fear, and shouted like little girls.
Jai and I started laughing non-stop, trying to catch our breaths.

"Oh my god, you should have seen your faces," Jai said taking off his mask.

"I can't eve-n," I laughed out loud.

"There is a door for a fucking reason, why can't you just fucking knock?!" Beau says still in fear.

"I like it the hard way," Jai smirked. 

"Fuck you both, assholes," Luke yelled.

"Love you too, Luke," I giggled.

"You will see guys, you will see," Beau threatened us.

"Ya"ll never get us," Jai said sticking out his tongue.

"And both of you, clean this mess up right now," Luke ordered.
