Chapter Seventeen

Hey guys i know its been so long since last time I updated I am so sorry its just I start school on monday and I have been so busy lately preparing for that and I have been procrastinating I know I am sorry but here is two chapters to make up I hope you all enjoy and don't forget to vote. lets try and get this chapter to 7 votes at least?

I sat down on my door step waiting for Jai to come pick me up.

"Beep beep," I heard a car horn.

I looked up to see Jai gesturing for me to get in, so I stood up and made my way to his car.

"Hey," I smiled getting in his car.

"Hello beautiful," he greeted me with a kiss on the cheek.

The whole car ride was dead silent but not the weird kind of silence; it was more like 'the I am so tired and not in the mood to talk' kind of silence.

"See you in third period," I waved goodbye for Jai and went to my first class which was Biology.

My first two classes were so boring I had no one to talk to. I barely do have any friends and people to talk to so I just sit alone.

It was now third period, the one I had with Jai. I walked in class and took my usual seat near the window and far away from stupid ignorant people. I looked around trying to find where Jai was seated but I couldn't get any sight of him, Guess he was late for class again.

We were half way through the lecture when Jai finally decided to show up later than ever.

"And this is how you-" Mr. Robins was cutt off by Jai storming into the classroom.

"Well look who finally decided to show up in the middle of my lecture," he took his glasses off his face and folded his arms as if in 'you are in a big trouble Mr.'

"I am so sorry; I got locked up in the bathroom and then had someone to come and help me and-" Jai was cutt of by Mr. Robins' "If this ever happens again I am going to have to give you detention Mr. Brooks."

I was trying to hold in my laughter but I just couldn't; it was so embarrassing yet so funny to watch Jai get yelled at in front of the whole class.

Jai groaned making his way to his usual seat; he shoot me a death glare, and I put my hands up in defence and laughed quietly.

The class finished and I didn't even speak one proper word with Jai. I tried stopping him after class to talk with him but he was already gone.

Later then it was break time I looked around for Jai but didn't find him anywhere. "I guess I am sitting alone at lunch," I sighed making my way towards an empty table.

I was eating my lunch when suddenly felt something placed on the table beside me. I looked up to see a tall, handsome, blond boy with bluish eyes and let me tell you he looked fine as hell.

"Can I join?" The long handsome boy asked.

"Uh-eh yeah sure," I said moving my plate of food aside.

"Matthew." He smiled with his hand out for me to shake it.

"Amanda," I smiled back shaking his hand.

"How are you?" He asked taking a bite of his peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"All good and you?"

"Good good."

We stayed silent for almost five minutes when he finally spoke again.

"So, there is this party next week." He began to talk, "and I was wondering if you would like to come with me?" He asked sounding unsure more like scared of my answer.

Is he asking me out on date?

"Uh, yeah sure, that sounds fun," I smiled.

"It's a date then," he smiled showing off his pearly white teeth.

"Su-sure," I smiled hesitantly.

Soon enough without me even realizing, the hot guy had already left, leaving me all alone once again.

"Good now I have a date with a hot guy that I barely know," I sighed leaning my head back.

School was over and it was time to head back home, usually Jai gives me a ride but I still haven't found him anywhere. I decided to text him and ask where he was.

To Jai

WHERE ARE YOU I HAVE BEEN LOOKING SO LONG FOR YOU YOU BETTER GIVE ME MY RIDE BACK HOME.

I was so mad at him; first he showed up late at our one class together and didn't even bother to talk with me, second he was missing during lunch, and now I can't seem to find him anywhere.

After a few minutes I felt my phone vibrate in my hands. I looked at my phone to see that I had a message from Jai.

"Ugh finally," I said looking at his message which read:

From Jai

Calm down I am still here meet me at the school gates and I'll come and pick you up.

"Where the fuck have you been?" I semi-yelled at him the moment I entered the car.

"School duh."

"Well I haven't seen you anywhere near school," I said air-quoting the word 'school'.

"Okay, okay, I was embarrassed from what happened with Mr. Robins, so I didn't show up at lunch," he said with all honesty.

"That was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my whole life," I said slightly laughing.

"It's not my problem that I got locked in a bathroom all alone." He said sarcastically.

"How did you get locked anyways?"

"Well as usual I went to pee, and I locked the bathrooms door just incase someone opened on me peeing, and when I finished doing my business I tried unlocking the door, but it didn't open; I started shouting and yelling for help, but no one could hear because everyone was in class; then after a while I heard someone get in, and surprisingly it was the janitor. He unlocked the door, and that's pretty much it." He explained.

"Wow."

"Yeah. I know."

"Still was so funny," I laughed.

"Ha ha ha," He laughed sarcastically.

"Anyways," he began, "how did lunch go without me? Pretty bad huh?" He side smirked.

"No actually," I laughed.

"There is this dude, he asked me out on a-" I began but he cutt me off "you're not going."

Who does he think he is telling me what to do?

"Um sorry you're not my dad," I stated annoyed.

"But still you're not going, and that's final," he raised his voice.

"Yes yes I am."

"Who is he anyways?

"I am not telling you," I said trying not to make eye contact with him.

"Amanda, tell me who he is," he ordered.

I decided on just telling him. I mean it's better than having a fight with him right? Jai did really look angry and that was so scary to watch.

"Matthew," I said not looking at him.

"The tall guy in year twelve?" He asked.

"Yeah," I said.

He didn't say anything but sighed out loudly, he did look pretty annoyed, but what's his problem? I mean he and I are not even going out, so he can't act all bossy towards me.
