"Mommy,Daddy!Time for school!" 10 year old Robyn Valentine yelled,jumping up and down on her parents bed
"Okay hunny,come on let's get you ready for school and we'll let daddy sleep."
"Okay mommy." Robyn said happily
Robyn and her mom walked into her room,Robyn's mom,Jazmine opened a box that held Robyn's clothes since they just moved in Tuesday night,enrolled her in a local public school Wednesday morning and now it's Thursday morning,the day Robyn gets to make new friends in her new 4th grade class
"What do you want to wear,hunny bun?" Jasmine asked
Robyn giggled at the nickname her mom gave her before she answered "Um,the white sundress with black strips,and yellow sunflowers and skulls."
"This one?" Jazmine asked showing her the dress
"Yup." Robyn said popping out the 'p',Robyn grabbed the dress along with some fresh underwear,she walked into the bathroom,shutting the door behind her.She took off her pajamas and underwear,she put on the fresh pair of underwear and pulled the dress over her head,putting her arms through the arm loops of the dress.She stepped up on her step stool so she can reach the sink and brush her teeth.
Robyn walked out of the bathroom,and slipped on her favorite pair of black hightop converse.She ran downstairs trying to find her,she saw her mom sitting on the couch drinking coffee,Robyn ran towards her and asked "Mommy can you put my hair in pigtails,please?" batting her eyelashes innocently
Jazmine giggled at her innocent expression "Sure,hunny bun." she set her coffee down on the coffee table and got up,shd walked to the nearest bathroom with little Robyn trailing behind her "Come here hunny bun." Jazmine said opening her arms,Robyn ran into her arms,Jazmine picked her up setting her on the counter,she grabbed a brush and some rubber bands.
"There all done,now let's get you to school." Jazmine said,Robyn hopped off the counter with the help of her mom,she grabbed her backpack.
And with that,Robyn headed off to school.
