Part thirteen

Tyler and Siara looked at each other. "You knew?" Tyler asked.

"I told you." Siara said.

"Of course I knew... I'm The one who made you have it."

"What?"

"It's a special gift that very few have. But I don't have time to explain. What is it?"

"OK since you don't have time we're just gonna put it out there." Tyler said. "We're each gonna take half and it will hopefully let us age and not need blood, but let us keep the strength, speed, and maybe compulsion."

"You really think that will work?" Luis asked.

"We hope it will."

"Well... It wont." He said looking at Siara.

"What how do you know?"

"Because I'm the one who made it, and others have tried it before."

"Dad, you made it?"

"Yes."

"So you can make another kind??"

"I can yes. Why?"

"Make more dad. The way that we want. Take it with us. We can all grow together."

"Son, I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because I- well..." He stopped. There was no reason. "OK Tyler. For you. But it takes a long time."

"How long?"

"Three weeks."

"In 2 weeks I'll be 17." Siara said.

"Why don't you make more, and we can take it then, we will only be 1 year apart then. Instead of 2." Tyler said putting his arm around her waist.

"That's why you want it? Because you love her?"

Tyler looked down and took his arm off of her "Yeah. Dad I forgot to tell you. We are in love."

"I know Tyler. I could tell a long time ago." Tyler Smiled and Siara blushed. "OK. Well I have to get back to work. I'll start tonight. Goodbye." He pushed them out the door. And went back to his patient.

"Thank you Tammy." Tyler said on the way out.

"So I'm gonna have to go to school for 2 1/2 weeks like this? So help me I don't rip all their heads off." She joked. They laughed and he took her back home.

"Well, did it work?" Alexis asked when they walked in.

"Actually we are gonna wait three weeks."

"Why?" Alexis asked.

"My dad is the one who made it, and he knows how to make one that will work the way we want. So he's gonna make enough for him to take it with us."
