Twenty four
Kimmy got in the car, and sat in the back with Alexis. They drove to Tyler's house and he made them all hot chocolate.
They sat on the couch, and talked about the party. They had 13 people altogether. Siara, Tyler, Alexis, Brian, Chris, Billy, Jackson, Alice, Andy, Jessica, Tina, Shelby, and Hilary.
"There's 7 girls, and 6 guys." Siara told them after she counted.
"Is there anyone else you want to invite that you can think of?" Tyler asked.
"Not off the top of my head." Siara said taking a sip.
"Hey what about, um, Jordan?" Alexis asked quietly.
"Who's Jordan?" Tyler asked.
"He's um..." Alexis began.
"He's her crush." Siara teased.
"Shut up. No he's not." Alexis said blushing.
"Go for it."
"Can you ask him for me?" Alexis asked embarrassed.
"Sure. How about lunch right before we meet Tyler?"
"That sounds good." Alexis said back.
"OK. But you'll have to find him."
"OK."
Once they were all finished with their hot chocolate, they went outside and played pass with the football.
Siara passed the ball to Kimmy, but threw it too hard. It hit her right in the eye. She fell backwards. They all three ran over to her.
"Oh my god, I am so sorry. Let me see. Is it swollen? Is it bruised?" Siara said before Kimmy even sat up.
"I'm fine. Just let me sit up." Kimmy told her.
They all took a step back. Kimmy took her hand off of her eye, and it was red, but not swollen or bruised. Kimmy repeatedly blinked, because her eye was watering.
"I'm so sorry." Siara said again.
"Dude I'm fine. Just back up." Kimmy protested. She stood up and her vision was a little blurry from the watering, but she was fine. "Can we get back to playing now?" Kimmy asked.
"Kimmy, you just got hit in the eye. We're not playing anymore."
"Siara. I told you I'm fine. I'm not a little wimp. I've been hit in the eye before anyways."
"What? By who?"
"The boys were playing basketball at recess and when I walked by, one accidentally elbowed me. It was no big deal."
"Are you sure you're OK?"
"I'm fine. Now... Catch." Kimmy said as she picked up the ball and threw it." So Siara flashed and caught it, and they went back to playing.
