Part fourteen"What do you mean death?" He asked.
"At first I saw myself. I saw myself killing people. And flash backs to when you bit me. And I couldn't help it when I killed them. But last night, last night was different. There was a girl, I swear I've seen her before. She was in a room. It looked like a supply closet, like at a school or something. She stepped on a stool, and she flew. But only a few inches, before her neck snapped from the rope she put around her. She had hung herself. And her last words were 'It wasn't funny to me.' Then there was nothing. That's all there was last night. The whole four hours of sleep I got. That was it."
"I'm sure it's just stress. About school. It'll be OK. Trust me. Now get some rest, you'll need it for school."
"I'm OK. I only have about 4 hours til I have to get up anyways."
"Siara you need rest. You don't want to go and have your brain not work."
"No. I don't want to see it again. I'll be fine."
"OK how about this." He laid down and put the blanket on him and put his arm under her. "I'll stay here with you. At least for a while. So you don't have bad dreams."
"Won't your dad be wondering where you are?"
"He rarely does. Plus I'm 118... I don't need my daddy's permission."
"No Tyler, it's OK."
"Too late. I'm already comfortable." He said.
"Fine." She closed her eyes again. And she fell asleep. Her heart slowly got faster. But only a fraction of the usual speed.
Tyler kissed her. He went home because it was now 4:45 and she only had a little over a half hour before she had to get up.
But just minutes after he left, her heart began to race. She was having the same dream. She gasped and sat up. "Tyler. It didn't-" She stopped. She noticed he was gone.
She slicked her cold, sweaty hair back toward her ponytail that was halfway out. She grabbed her remote and put on some music.
She fell back asleep until her alarm went off, but she didn't have anymore dreams. Her mind was blank.
When she got up, she took a shower, ate, and got ready. She slipped her shoes on and she walked Kimmy to her bus stop at 7:05. Kimmy's bus arrived at 7:15 and Siara walked to school.
She got there at 7:45. She waited at the side of the school for Alexis. They met up and walked to class. They had the same class. Math.
"Uh oh." Alexis said. She moved her head toward Andy.
They stood and waited for the teacher to assign seats. They sat next to each other, but they also sat in the same group as Andy. And there was a quiet girl named Alice. She had long black hair in a braid down her back. She had dark blue eyes and dark skin. She was really smart, but didn't talk much. Andy was quiet as well. Mostly because his friends sat at the table next to them. They kept making comments.
Siara tried to listen, but all she heard was mumble.
"Alright class. My name is Mr. Goldwin."
