Chapter 33

"So, Gemma, where would you like to go on holiday?" I asked

"I'm not sure mum" Gemma sighed

"We could bring some of your friends?" I asked again

"Omg? Really?" She gasped

"Of course" I smiled

"Can I invited Caleb, Charlotte and Joshua? Please?!" She begged, no longer paying attention to her phone.

Just as she said that, Alfie walked in, sitting down next to me at the table, and looking at my laptop, where I had a holiday website open, displaying a range of hotels in various exotic places.
Gemma just sat there in silence, on the edge of her chair, she looked beyond excited.

"What do you think, Alfie? Can she bring Caleb, Char and Josh?" I said

"Of course!" Alfie chirped

**GEMMA'S POV**

"So, where are we going?" I said, checking my twitter.

"We could go on a mini trip around America, like to Florida, New York, Cali" Dad suggested, still staring at the computer screen.

"Yesss!" I said happily, beggining to type a tweet.

"Well that's sorted, America it is!" Mum said

**Later That Day**

"So guys, we gotta plan this shit" I said, Caleb, Josh and Charlotte all staring at me.

"Well I already know that I wanna go to Disney Land Florida" Charlotte said

"We should go shopping for holiday clothes!" Joshua suggested

"What he said" Caleb agreed

"Shopping it is, and we could watch a movie after?" I said, getting approving nods from my friends.

We all got up from my bed and ran downstairs, all stopping at the dining room, where mum and dad were still holiday planning.

"Can we go shopping?" I asked

"You do realise the holiday won't be for like 3 weeks, even if we book it literally tonight" Dad said

"Please? It will give me and my friends some bonding time" I laughed

"Of course, it would save us having to go with you, note to self, never ever shop with Gemma" Mum laughed

"Joshua, I'm trusting you with the money" Mum handed Joshua an envelope.

"Whatt? But I'm the responsible one!" Charlotte said

"Joshua is!" Dad laughed

We all giggled and walked out the door.

"Gem, holy shit this is alot!" Joshua and Caleb said, staring dreamily at the notes.

"Guys! Put that away or someone will mug you! For fuck sake" Charlotte laughed

"Okay, mum" Joshua said

"Shut the fuck uppp" Charlotte gently punched him.

Joshua and Charlotte ended up so involved in a conversation that they slipped behind me, leaving Caleb and me alone. I didn't even seem to realise he was holding my hand. We both looked back and Josh and Char, so deep in their conversation, lost in eachothers eyes, that they didn't notice us staring.

"They are so in love" Caleb whispered

"I know right" I replied

I turned back around and rested my head on his shoulder, I couldnt see the bus stop anywhere in sight, looks like we'd have a long walk. It was pure silence for at least 10 minutes. But it was the best kind of silence, just me and Caleb, looking into the distance as we walked. It was amazing. Caleb broke our touch as he reached into his pocket, I lifted my head of his shoulder and stretched it a bit.

"Gum?" He offered

"You ruined the mood for gum?" I laughed

"It's citrus flavored" He laughed

"Ewww that one is gross" I said, pushing him

"Get on my back" Caleb said

"What? No! I'll fall!" I said

"Come on, trust me" He laughed

I walked behind him, lifting myself onto his back, and he began to piggy-back me.

"Now you don't have to walk" He smiled

"Awww" I laughed

I rested my arms on his chest and then began to hug him as he carried me.

"I love you" He said

"I love you too" I replied, closing my eyes and resting my head on his neck.
