** Evan's P.O.V. **

I have been sitting in the same place for god knows how long. I rarely ate or moved. Many times it would be Crimson or Josh dragging me out of the room, either to go eat or to just simply get some fresh air. The only thing I felt was emptiness. I haven't been thinking and living the same way since that night. My life took a turn since I had received that phone call.

** Flashback **

I was sleeping in my bed. All of a sudden the loud noise of a ring tone started blasting in the room. I turned over and picked up the phone, not even bothering to look at who the fuck was calling me at what? 3 A.M.?

"Hello?" I pushed myself to speak and not fall asleep again. I heard someone unevenly breathing on the other side. I had a feeling that the conversation wasn't going to end well.

"Evan?!" A male voice rushed with a somewhat broken voice. Who was this person? Was it me or I heard like he was crying? I started to become very confused. This must be some kind of stupid joke.

"Um, ok. You guys got me. Nice try, I almost fell for it. Who gave you my number to prank call me anyway?" I asked annoyed, sitting up in bed. All I wanted to do was go to sleep goddamn it. The breathing seemed to catch.

"E-evan, it's me- Josh. Crimson's boyfriend, Uh- I assume you saw the video we made a while back." Josh? Oh Josh, that's right. He was the guy in the video who had said he wanted to marry Crimson. Back when he was trying to convince Nicole to return home.

"Oh dude, what's up? Something wrong?" I heard a sob and my heart clenched, my eyes narrowing in confusion.

"Dude?"

"I-It's Nicole." He began, and I swore my heart stopped.

"What about Nicole?" I said steadily, heart now racing and my palms starting to sweat as I waited for his response.

"D-dude, meet me at the hospital, please." He said, and my heart fell. He didn't have to explain, if Nicole needed to go to the hospital it was bad. Really bad.

"I'm on my way now!" I practically shouted into my phone as I launched out of bed, slipping on the rug before stumbling to the closet. I ripped jeans out of the drawer and a t-shirt off the hangers, the phone falling to the ground in my rushed dressing.

"Just be quick, please!" I faintly heard, and I found myself nodding quickly as I buttoned my pants and slipped my shirt on. In my rush I nearly stepped on my phone, the only thing stopping me was the fact that I dearly needed that device to get where I needed to go. I reached down and scooped it up, racing down the stairs and grabbing my shoes. After dragging them on I grabbed my car keys and nearly ripped my door off its hinges as I swung it open the closed.

I launched myself into the car and speed off to the hospital. I gave no care for the stop-lights or anyone else for that matter. I had my foot pressed on the gas and I was constantly honking my horn warning people long before I got there.

After nearly getting in an accident twice I made it to the hospital. I turned my car off right as the ambulance pulled in. People swarmed up to it and I saw a stretcher being pulled off before being placed on the ground and wheeled away. Josh stumbled out the back, looking like absolute... well, shit. His shirt had blood on it along with his jeans, and I noticed smears of the red fluid in his hair and upon his skin. Overall he looked like he had just walked out of a blood bath. The amount of blood he had upon him scared me.

I didn't want to walk forward but my body moved on its own accord, pulling me closer to him. Josh noticed me a few feet away and his mood seemed to drop even more.
