**11 months after Nicole wakes up.**

** Nicole's P.O.V. **

Yet again, another long month had passed. Things were getting better. I been now regularly tattooing clients. I've never did any big and important work yet, but either was I ready. I felt safe doing what I was already doing. I knew I just needed to take my time and sooner or later I would open up to bigger ideas. Romeo was so proud of me that he didn't feel the need to look after me every five seconds.

Even going out wasn't that much of a problem. Ever since I changed my looks a few months ago, I feel confident. I wasn't scared anymore. Not once has a person even bothered to ask me if I resembled a certain Nicole that used to be Oli's girlfriend. I guess, everybody was so sure that I was dead that not even the deepest of conspiracy theorists were searching for me. After all, the only living proof that I was the same person were the two tattoos that I wear with pride.

My relationship with Evan was doing great! I couldn't ask for more. I was actually happy with him. We have gotten so close that we have basically told each other our life stories. We know everything about each other. Well... almost everything. I really wanted to but I couldn't build the courage to tell Evan about my starving habits happening again. It was already a lot to tell help that I had a history with anorexia and it was killing him to hear me say that. I didn't want to ruin his pure soul even more.

I was in the car right now with Josh and Evan right now on a mission. Crimson was not there with us and she couldn't know what we were doing. The other day Josh came up to us all nervous. After questioning him a bit trying to get even a few words out of the fellow he told us the truth. He wanted to propose to her. We both jumped in excitement, obviously. It was plain sight that they were meant for each other. A lot of obstacles had been pushed around on their road and they were able to get pass every single one of them. If you couldn't call that true love I had no idea what it was.The car stopped as we were parked right in front of a fancy jewelry store.

"Are you ready to become a big boy Joshy?" I played around with him. He glanced at me without saying a word and pushed himself forward.

"Of course I am. Now let's enter this place and just hope I can find the perfect ring for her." He said, entering the place. The shop was big and there were all kinds of sections. From piercings, to earrings, to finally the reason we came here, the engagement rings. The guy who looked over that section smiled, watching us getting closer.

"Now, may I ask. How is the lucky gentleman today?" The man said in a welcoming and gentle voice. He was around the mid forties, already married by the shining ring he wore and happily by the looks of it. Evan and I pointed at him with huge grins plastered on our faces.

"It's me and I truly am so lucky to have somebody like Crimson by my side and hopefully, forever." I internally screamed for how adorable he was. I knew he wasn't the kind of guy that would say stuff like that and end up divorcing the poor lady in a maximum of five years. When he said forever, he truly meant it. Also, for the afterlife as Josh deeply believed in the existence of one.

"Well, it's nice to see such a young man so deeply in love. I already have a few samples to show you and then we can work around from there." The man said taking out a set of a dozen rings. We all gazed at them, amazed by the beauty of each unique ring. They were all so different from each other, from the classic white ring with a diamond, going all the way to a black ring with a sapphire gem decorating it.

"So Josh, do you like anything you see?" I asked him.

"They are all so beautiful, but none of these feels like the one, you know? I can't imagine a single one on Crimson's finger. I already have an idea of the perfect one but I don't even think they will have it." He said frowning.
