I kissed Josh sweetly as I handed him his overnight bag.

"Be safe, and remember, if any girl tries to keep you just say you have a girlfriend who would kill for fun." I joked lightly, and he smiled, taking the bag and wrapping an arm around my waist as he tugged me closer, dipping down for a much longer and sweeter kiss. When he pulled away he smiled so adorably I nearly broke into tears.

"I'll be safe. Call you as soon as I land in the Germany." He said, and I nodded as I pulled away. I didn't want him to notice just how thin I was beginning to grow. He smiled warmly as he turned and left, and I watched him leave before gently closing the front door. I walked to the kitchen, crouching down and opening a cabinet. I reached all the way into the back, carefully removing a lid to the small pot and grabbed the small baggy, replacing the lid and closing the cabinet. I crouched there, staring at the baggy and biting my bottom lip.

I went to the bathroom, closing and locking the door, pulling the necessary items out from underneath the sink, wrapped up in a towel. I put a little bit on the spoon and put the lighter underneath, waiting impatiently for it to turn to liquid. As soon as it was I poured it into the syringe, carefully attaching the needle and taking a deep breath before holding the syringe in my mouth, tying a rubber band around my upper arm before sitting down and taking a small deep breath. I carefully slid the needle into the skin, being careful to stay away from the tender skin.

I sucked in a sharp breath, emptying the vial and pulling the needle out of my skin, letting it fall to the ground as I closed my eyes, leaning back as I let what happen, happen. At first it felt great, like it always does, and then it started to fade away, and I whimpered- lacing my arm over my elbow as I leaned forward, struggling to breathe. I licked my lips lightly, running a hand over my face as I tried to not scratch it off. I just sat there on the floor, eyes closed as I tried to keep everything down. My hip vibrated and- keeping my eyes closed- I reached into the pocket, pulling out the vibrating phone. I opened my eyes, staring at the text message before groaning.

I didn't want to answer it, so I let it rest on my lap as I closed my eyes again. Second and Sebring started playing and I looked down, opening my eyes to look at the caller. Austin's name glowed on the screen and I gritted my teeth slightly before answering, lifting the phone up to my ear as I waited for Austin to say hello.

"Hey! So I'm free today, and I was wondering if you wanted to get together?" He asked and I slightly smiled.

"Can we make it a home call? I don't feel too great today." I said softly, voice sounding slightly rough as I spoke.Immediately he was concerned.

"Of course!! We'll hang out at your house then?" He asked, and I nodded, slightly humming.

"Sure, does an hour sound good? I need time to get ready." I said, fingers twitching as I felt the immense need to scratch at my arms. I mentally noted that Tar made my blood burn in a rather bad way, and I felt disgusted, right away feeling disgusted at myself for even thinking like that. Since when had been reviewing drugs right? Since when has criticing them been correct. I gritted my teeth in anger, clenching my fist weekly.

"-games and some cheetos, not to mention that I should get drinks." He said and I looked at my lap, ashamed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear half of what you just said..." I said weakly, pulling the phone away from my mouth to take a gasp as a breath. Austin must've heard and the concern spiked.

"Hey, I'm sorry if I caught you in a bad time-"

"No, no you didn't, i've just been really wrapped up in my thoughts and I really haven't been functioning properly." I said weakly, and he seemed to be saying something to someone else before he responded to me.
