I woke up bright and early. Weird. JJ was up too. I guess we both woke up early. School starts next week and tomorrow is my birthday. Ari said she's taking me birthday shopping today. I got in the shower and got dressed. Apparently, JJ has something big planned for my birthday.

I got a letter in the mail today. It's from Hayes. He missed my birthday again this year. I'm so sad.

Dear Lise,

You'll probably get this a day early. Mom said so. Happy birthday! Probs early. I'm sorry I can't be there with you. That's 2 years in a row I can't be with you. I feel terrible. This is the year you can drive and I won't be there to spend it with you! I'm a horrible best friend. Just kidding. I'm the best. Love you!

My eyes started watering. I miss Hayes so much. I got a text from Ari saying she was here. I walked outside and saw her. "Hey." I said, getting into her car. "Were you crying?" She asked me. "No." I lied. "Yes you were. Why?" She asked. "My friend, he's missed my birthday 2 years in a row and he sent me a very heartwarming letter. It made me tear up." I told her. "Oh honey. It'll be alright." She hugged me.

Hayes means so much to me. Ari does too. We got to the mall and we went to Forever 21. I got a cute dress. There wasn't much there that I liked. We then, went to the Vans store. I love this place. I ended up getting a pair of new black vans.

I chose the next store. We went to a store that sold Band tees. I got a Nirvana, 5SOS, Fall Out Boy, and FIYM shirts. I'm so excited. From, Hayes, I got 2 tickets to 5SOS. I'm taking Ari. It's on the 19th of September and I can't wait!

We made it home by 6 pm. JJ was on the phone. Probably with Jack G. I usually call them JJ and Jackie. Jackie has grown more of a brother to me and I haven't really seen Sammy in the "he's hot" way anymore. He seems like a brother. I don't hang out with Nate. I don't even know his last name.

JJ got off the phone and we all sat down for dinner. JJ, had one sibling and he lives at his collage in Lincoln. JJ's dad died a few years ago. It's just me, his mom, and him at the table. I decided to take another shower since, I felt dirty. I blow dried my hair.

I got into bed and dreams filled my mind.

Dream:

"Hayes! Stop!" I screamed. "Say Hayes is the bestest." He told me and I said those words. Hayes pulled me up. He planted his lips on mine. I didn't fight. I kissed back. "I love you so much." Hayes said. "I love you too." I replied.

Not dream:

I woke up. It was 8 am. That was the weirdest dream ever. Or was it? Do I like Hayes? I think I do. I'm going to tell him. I decided to go on Twitter. Apparently Hayes has a girlfriend. Her name is Sadie. She seems really pretty. I guess I'm not telling him.

Lot's of people wished me a happy birthday. The thing that caught my eye was that Calum Hood retweeted and wished me happy BIRTHDAY. I'm freaking out. My favorite celebrity wished me a happy birthday!! I'm going crazy.

Anna: I know I am

I walked downstairs and everybody jumped out and said surprise. I saw Hayes. OMG Hayes!! "Hayes!" I screamed. "I didn't miss it." He said. "No you didn't." I smiled. Then, I saw it. I do have feelings for Hayes. His eyes make me melt. He has Sadie though.

I hugged JJ. "I know you planned this." I told him. "Anything for you." He smiled. "Mrs. Johnson walked over to me. She handed me a slip of paper. It was a note. It's scented paper. "Vanilla, my favorite." I smelled the paper again. Everyone laughed.

Annalise,

We're adopting you. I hope you're okay with that and if you're not. It's fine with us.

"It is totally fine with me!" I screamed. "Yay!" JJ said. "Now, I can call you my sister!" JJ screamed. Hayes walked over to us. I hugged him again. I've got to get this stuff in before He leaves again. He handed me a box. I opened it and it was a necklace. An Adventure Time necklace. It had Finn and Jake on it.

"I'm Jake and you're Finn." He told me. "No matter what, we're better together." I said. "Exactly." He smiled. He Put the necklace on me. Nash handed me a gift. I opened it and it revealed a "Cashew" shirt. "I've been wanting one of these." I told him. "It's from Cam and I." He hugged me. Matt handed me a box. I opened it. It had a LSP stuffed toy and a "Oh My Glob" shirt.

"YOU GOT ME LUMPY SPACE PRINCESS?" I screamed and he nodded. I put on my shirt and squeezed my LSP. JJ gave me a poorly wrapped box. "I'm guessing you wrapped it yourself." I smirked. I ripped it open. It was a Polaroid camera. "Thank you so much." I said. "Wait, there's more." He smiled. Jackie handed me a box. It had rope and clothes pins. "I'm so confused." I said. "Go look in you art room." JJ said. I ran upstairs.

I went into my art room and saw the rope with clothes pins on it. There's one photo hanging. It's a picture of Jackie, JJ, and all the other boys. Including Mahogany. She's my bae. I walked downstairs in tears. "You guys are the best." I said. I hugged all of them and I never want to let them go.

That was such a sweet way to end Her birthday.

I know, I've been skipping a lot of time. There's a lot I've got to put into this story. I'm just trying to make it work.
