Chapter 18

- Annalise -

I woke up. I'm alive. Acacia didn't kill me in my sleep. Thank the lords. "JJ. Wake up. We have school." I said, poking his face. "Ugh." He groaned. I pulled him out of bed and I went and showered. I looked at the time. Holy shit! We're going to be late.

"GUYS! IT IS 7:51. 9 MINUTES AND SCHOOL STARTS!" I yelled. We all ran and hopped in my car. I don't know how we fit but, We did. We pulled up and ran into school. Ari was already in class waiting for me. I sat down next to her. Hayes behind me and Some guy behind Ari.

"Ari, are you going to the party tonight?" The guy asked her. "I don't know, John. I might." She replied. "Are you, Anna?" He asked me. Oh I know him. "I think I am." I said. "You're going to a party?" Hayes and Ari asked me. "Yes I am." I told them. "Wow." They both said.

"GRAY. C'MON!" I yelled at my idiotic boyfriend. "Don't rush me, woman." He said. "How many times have I told you, DO NOT CALL ME WOMAN!" I yelled. "We've got to hurry if we're going to make it to John's house in time." I told him. "Do you even know where it is?" He asked me. "Yes I do. John texted me the address." I chuckled.

Turns out John doesn't live very far away from me. I walked up to the door. "Hi, Lise." John slurred. "John, have you been drinking?" I asked him. "I've only had 2 Wine coolers." He told me and I nodded. I walked straight to see Hayes and some girl making out. It really made me jealous. I like Hayes.

I started making out with Grayson. I do have respect and I'm not going to cheat. Grayson and I walked over right next to Hayes and Ari. Ari? Out of all people. Ari looked at me and she started kissing Hayes harder. I kissed Grayson so hard. Is it bad that when I kiss Grayson, I picture Hayes? I'm so confused. Ari led Hayes upstairs. I'm not going that far and if Hayes does, I'll be ashamed of him.

"Let's get something to drink." Grayson yelled and I nodded. We walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a Jack Daniel's. I've never had alcohol before. I downed the bottle and grabbed another. I started feeling dizzy after my third bottle. Everything went black.

- Hayes -

"Did it make her jealous?" I asked Ari as we got into the room. "Yeah it did. I can't believe you like her!" Ari laughed. "It's not funny." I said. Ari looked at me and we started kissing again. This time I didn't picture Anna. I saw Ari and it stayed Ari. Do I like Ari?

"Hayes, what about An-" I cut her off by kissing her again. Her lips were sweet and tasted like vanilla. I liked it. They were warm and soft. I never wanted to let them go. "Hayes. I can't breathe." She panted. "Do you want to make it look like we had sex?" I asked her and she shrugged. I put her in my shirt. I had a hoodie on. I messed up her hair and she messed up mine. Perfect!

We walked back downstairs. I didn't see Anna anywhere. Ari pulled me into a room and a bunch of kids from school were in there. "TRUTH OR DARE!" JJ yelled. He was definitely drunk. "HELL YEAH!" Anna slurred. She was drunk too. Grayson was in there. He didn't look drunk at all. Neither did Jack G. "Grayson, truth or dare?" JJ asked him. "Dare." Grayson replied. "I dare you to kiss Ari." JJ yelled. Ari looked surprised. Anna didn't seem fazed. Grayson slurred, "Aw. YEAH!" He was definitely drunk. I bet Jack G was driving them home.

"Ari, truth or dare?" Grayson asked her. "Truth." She said. "Have you had sex before?" He asked her. She looked at me and I nodded. "Yeah." She said. "With who?" Jack G spoke up. "Oh. Hayes and I just had some hard core sex." She lied. Anna's mouth dropped to the floor. "Anna, truth or dare?" Ari asked her. "Dare." She replied. "I dare you to kiss Jack G AND Hayes each for 2 minutes." Ari laughed evily.

Anna went over to Jack G and made out with him for way more than 2 minutes. "I missed those lips." She whispered a little loudly. She went over to me. She grabbed my neck and started kissing me. Her lips tasted like almonds. I've always dreamt of this. It's finally coming true. Yippee!

Anna pulled away and went back over to Jack G. She started kissing him again. "ANNA!" Grayson yelled. "Anna!" He yelled again. Nobody could pry Anna off of Jack G. Which, is kind of hot. She is uncontrollable when she is drunk. Note to self: Get Anna alone and drunk.

"That's it Anna! We're over." Grayson yelled. Anna didn't even seem fazed. Jack couldn't even pry her off of him. "Wait. Grayson, she's drunk. It's not like she's doing it on purpose." I yelled at him. He punched me in the face. I started punching back. "You're the one who fucking gave her the drink!" JJ yelled. "Yeah. I thought she'd have sex with me! NOT KISS HER BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND!" Grayson yelled. "You're not welcome at my house. Neither is your brother." JJ screamed.

My face was bruised. I could feel it. I looked to see Ari. She wasn't there. I saw Annalise. Grayson was standing above her. Lise was holding her cheek. "YOU DIDN'T!" I screamed. "He did." Lise whispered and Grayson slapped her again. I grabbed Grayson and threw him down the stairs. I grabbed Annalise and carried her to Jack G's car.

She had her head in my lap. She looked so peaceful. I thought this night would've been better. Annalise was supposed to be my girlfriend. Not get slapped in the face by her ex boyfriend. I could hear Her wimpering. It must've hurt. I carried her and laid her in bed.
