JJ told me not to go to school today. There was a surprise. I woke up super early and showered. I'm super excited. I love surprises and hate the waiting. I walked downstairs. Mrs. Lauren was making breakfast.

"Hi." I said. "Hi Hayes." She smiled. "Yo, Hayes. C'mon, we is goin' shoppin'." He yelled. I ran out to his car. "We're getting gifts for Annalise to send to her." He said. I nodded and pulled out my phone. Annalise tweeted.

I really hope these tweets are directed at me because, it would be so weird for them, not to be. I closed my eyes and pictured her face. She is gorgeous. Plain beautiful. When, she comes back, I'm confessing my love for her. I tweeted something sweet.

Some people think of is as a couple. We're not, yet. I hope she feels the same way about me. We walked into the mall. I instantly see something Lise will want. I walked up to it. "This." I said. "A huge Finn stuffed animal from Adventure Time?" He asked and I nodded. I put it in our cart.

"What else?" He asked. "She loves bands." I said. "What about Nirvana?" He suggested. I nodded. We walked to the T-shirt section. "Ooh. 5SOS!" JJ yelled. I laughed at him. He grabbed a thousand T-shirts.

We finally left the mall. After, we bought a thousand more things. I swear, this kid bought more stuff for him than, Lise. We got home not that long ago. We were setting up a huge party for Cameron. He's apparently, coming back.

I heard footsteps at the door. I think everyone hid. The door opened. "SURP-Annalise?" I yelled. "Hayes!" She yelled, jumping into my arms. Behind her was Cameron. JJ smirked at me. "Dude, fuck you. You set this up the whole time." I laughed. I handed Lise the Adventure Time Stuffed Finn. It's wrapped though.

"For me?" She asked and I nodded. She opened it up and screamed. "IT IS FINN!" She yelled. I nodded my head. JJ handed her a huge box. It's the T-shirts. She opened it up and screamed, "5SOS!" She kept digging through the box. "Thank you so so so so much." She hugged JJ.

She pulled me aside. "We need to talk." She said. "Just enjoy the party." I said and walked away. Ms. Lauren was making food right now. I decided to walk over to Taylor. "Are you going to ask her out again?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Why?" He looked at me. "I know who she loves and she only likes me. She's my friend." He said. I nodded and walked away.

I pulled Hayes over again. "We need to talk." I said, sternly. "Fine." He groaned. We walked upstairs and went into my room. "Hayes, this isn't always easy to say." I took a breath. "I didn't notice until now, but, I think I love you. Yes, a best friend love and a in love, love. You're the cutest little button I've ever seen. I love you with all my heart. I want to be the one who calls you mine. I want to be able to miss you whenever I want. I want to be able to lay in bed with you. Not have sex. Just lay in bed and cuddle. I think I love you, Hayes." I took a deep breath. Hayes looked at me, speechless. He leaned and I so did. He kissed me.

I pulled away. "I've got a feeling that meant you like me too." He nodded. We looked at each other for a few more minutes. I stared into Hayes' eyes. They're so beautiful and vibrant. Now, I know for sure, I'm in love with my best friend.
