*1 Month Later*

School has been a bust. Today's Valentine's Day and I've got no Valentine. The student council decided on roses to send to your crush. Hayes is sending one to Lena, the girl he likes. He and Kaye broke up because, Kaye kissed Matthew again.

Lena walked in with a thousand roses. She walked up to me. She handed me 6 roses. "6?" I asked and she nodded. Wow. I've got six roses. I opened the first one, it's from Jake. Jake? Jake's here? I looked around and saw him. I ran and hugged him.

"I missed you!" I screamed. "I missed you too." He said. He came and sat next to me. Hayes looked a little angry but, I just shrugged it off. I'm just glad Jake is back. I saw Kalyn walk in. Jake went up to her and kissed her. My heart broke a little. I grabbed my stuff and ran home.

Nash wasn't at school so, I went to him. I knocked on the door. I'm trying to hide my tears. Jack G answered the door. "Is Nash here?" I asked him. "No, he just went out with Cameron." He told me and I nodded. "Were you crying?" He asked, pulling me inside. "Uh...no." I lied. "Yes you were. Tell me why." He demanded. "Okay. My ex boyfriend came back, Jake. Then, he kissed Kalyn. Right in front of me." I sighed. Jack looked at me. He leaned in and kissed me and I kissed back.

I pulled away from Jack. "I knew that was going to happen." I leaned my forehead on his forehead. "Will you go on a date with me?" He asked me and I nodded. Yay. I scored a date. A date with a cute guy. I walked home. I decided to skip school. Fuck it, right?

I decided to get the mail for my Mom. There's a letter addressed to my mom. It's from the Orphanage. I opened the letter, being the nosy girl I am.

Dear Amanda,

We've found a perfect home for your daughter, Annalise. I also, contacted your ex husband. He said It's all up to you. He doesn't care what you do. He thinks you're making a stupid idea. The home We found for Annalise, is in Omaha, Nebraska. It's the Johnson family. They're visiting North Carolina for a month. They said they'll be happy to meet with you. My mom wants to put me back in foster care? Why doesn't she love me? I just want to be dead. If I'm not here, at all, maybe my mom will be happy. I thought she loved me. What the heck, Mom? I decided to text Nash. He'll understand.

A: Nashy, my mom doesn't love me

N: Yes she does

A: That's why she's putting me up for adoption!

I waited for a response from Nash. I got nothing though. My phone started ringing. "Hello?" I answered, sniffling. "What do you mean, she's putting you up for adoption?" He asked. "There was a letter in the mail for her, saying they found a nice home for me in Omaha!" I started crying again. "I won't let you leave. Shh." He said into the phone and hung up.

Have a Happy fucking life mom! I'm going to be gone and you won't have to worry. You don't know how long I've waited for this. I went to the lake. It's the easiest way for me to go. I started a group chat with all the people I love.

A: BYE GUYS. I love you all so much. You have been so good to me and I've treated y'all like shit. You'll have a better life. I love you. Bye!

I ignored all the comments. I took my clothes off and went into the lake. Only a couple people were here. I went into the lake. I held my breath for a little bit and then I breathed in. This will be the day I die.

I saw a girl, who looked like Annalise, walk into the water. It's been about 10 minutes and she hasn't come up. I check my phone and it's going crazy. I got a text from Annalise.

A: BYE GUYS. I love you all so much. You have been so good to me and I treated y'all like shit. You'll have a better life. Love you. Bye!

That fucking was Annalise. I rushed into the water and grabbed her. I don't care if I'm soaked. She doesn't need to kill herself. She's so fucking beautiful. Who made her do this? I gave her mouth to mouth. She coughed up water but, she was alive and that's all that matters.

"Why'd you save me?" She asked, hitting my chest. "You don't need to do this to yourself." I said. "Yes I do. The world is happier without me! That's why I'm getting put up for adoption!" She screamed. She's what? "What?" I asked her. "My mom is putting me into foster care. With some family called the Johnson's. In Omaha!" She flipped. I put her in my car and she fell asleep.

I drove to Nash's place and left her in there. I knocked on the door and Hayes answered. "I need Nash." I told him and he let me through. I walked into his room. "Dude, Annalise is getting put into foster care." I said. "I know. She told me fir-" I don't care what he has to say. "With Jack Johnson's family." I interrupted him. "How do you know?" He asked. "There's only one Johnson family in Omaha." I told him. "How do you know they're from Omaha?" He asked another, stupid question. "She told me! She's going to live with Jack Johnson in Omaha! She's leaving us and Hayes!" I told him and he sat there doing nothing. Probably thinking. I can't believe she's going to live with Jack Johnson.
