Mia hadn't spoken to Chris since he had told her that Kim was pregnant. Mia hated the fact that when she told her parents she was pregnant she got a lecture and asked weather she wanted to keep the baby or have an abortion.

Skyler refused to leave the house in case Jack was there waiting to say something. Tom was getting worried about her. Once Tom was ready for work he went to speak to Skyler. "Are you coming in today?" Tom asked. Skyler looked up and shook her head.

"No, sorry," Skyler said. Tom sighed and kissed her before leaving.

Mia sat in the office with Max. "Was Evie okay this morning?" Max asked. Mia nodded.

"She was fine. Bit unsettled but fine," Mia replied. Max smiled just as the door knocked.

"Come," Max said. The door opened and Tom came in.

"Tom, where's Skyler?" Mia asked. Tom sighed and looked at Mia.

"She's too scared to come into school. She's worried that Jack will start again," Tom said. Mia frowned.

"I feel bad. I should have been there for her," Mia said. Max sighed and took Mia's hand.

"You were dealing with a lot yourself. You couldn't have known," Max told her. Mia shook her head.

"I needed to be there for her! She's always been there for me," Mia said. Tom smiled.

"I know she'll want to see you," Tom told her. Mia smiled.

"I'll come and see her tonight," Mia said. Tom nodded.

Skyler was watching cartoons with Natalia. "Mummy, Evie?" Natalia asked. Skyler smiled.

"You'll see Evie soon angel," Skyler said. Natalia giggled and cuddled into her mummy's side.

*A Few Hours Later*

School had ended so Mia went to collect Evie from the creche. "Hi my little perfect smilie baby," Mia said to Evie. Evie giggled. Mia puck her up and kissed her head. "Let's go see daddy princess," Mia said.

Mia left the creche just as Chris came down the corridor. "Mia, are you alright?" Chris asked. Mia scoffed.

"Am I okay? I get ASKED if I wanna keep my baby! You got their full support!" Mia said. Chris sighed.

"Mia I'm sorry. If I'd have known you were pregnant I would have been there," Chris told her. Mia rolled her eyes.

"Chris, please. Leave me alone," Mia said. Chris sighed as Mia walked off.

Tom returned home and saw Natalia running around."Hi daddy!" Natalia said. Tom smiled and hugged his daughter. Skyler came into the hallway.

"Mia and Max are coming over tonight," Tom said. Skyler smiled.

"Great! I've not seen Mia in ages," Skyler mentioned. Tom nodded.

"I know, Mia said something similar," Tom said.

Mia and Max arrived with Evie. Evie was fast asleep. "Mia, I've missed you so much!" Skyler said. Mia hugged her.

"I missed you too hon," Mia replied. Skyler took Evie from Max.

"She's grown so much," Skyler mentioned. Mia grinned.

"She has, she has Max's smirk instead of the smile," Mia said. Skyler laughed.

A few hours later, Mia and Max stood to leave. "Look Skyler, come into school on Monday, I'll be there and I need you too. Spending breaktime with Max isn't as fun as it could be," Mia said. Max smirked.

"Professional rememeber?" Max asked. Mia rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah," Mia replied. Mia hugged Skyler before she left with Max and Evie.

Natalia was taken to bed and Skyler went to bed herself. Tom came up around half an hour later. "I loved seeing Mia tonight, it was fun," Skyler said. Tom laughed.

"Yeah. Evie's a cute kid. Kind of makes me want another one," Tom told her. Skyler winked.

"You trying to hint at me for another baby?" Skyler asked. Tom grinned.

"Maybe, would you want one?" Tom asked. Skyler shrugged.

"I don't know, I love Natalia but I'm doing my GCSEs, I wanna know everything I can," Skyler said. Tom nodded.

"When you're ready," Tom said.

Mia and Max ended up in bed together. "We do this nearly everynight. How are you not tired all the time?" Mia asked. Max smirked.

"Are you trying to say I'm old?" Max asked her. Mia grinned.

"I'm not saying nothing but if you wanna assume you're old then...." Mia couldn't finish as Max began kissing her. A couple of hours later they both fell asleep.
