Chapter Seventeen

"What's wrong?" Max asked.

"I think I'm in labour," Mia admitted. Max was shocked but Skyler spoke.

"My waters have just broke,"

~~Now ~~

Max couldn't believe what he was hearing. Both girls were in labour. "Max, you need to call an ambulance and now!" Mia said. She was in so much pain. Max didn't know what to say. "Flamming hell Max! How hard is it to dial 999 and ask for an ambulance!" Mia yelled.

Max rang the ambulance and it was on its way. Skyler's contractions were coming quicker than Mia's. "Help Skyler, I'm fine," Mia said. Max wasn't convinced but he did what Mia asked of him.

"You need to push," Max said to Skyler. Skyler groaned and began pushing.

"This is the second time you've helped me give birth!" Skyler stated. Max rolled his eyes but smiled.

Tom arrived outside Max's. He needed to know Skyler was okay. When he got in the house he heard Skyler's screams. Rushing in he saw Skyler in labour. "How long have you been like this?" Tom asked.

Skyler shrugged. " A couple hours. Ouch!" Skyler cried. She was in so much agony. "Tom, don't ever put me through this again," Skyler said.

Mia couldn't handle the pain. "Where's the ambulance?" Mia asked. Max sighed.

"On its way. I promise," Max told her. Mia nodded just as a contraction hit her.

"Flipping hell!" Mia yelled. Evie was standing in the doorway. She was scared.

"Mama?"

Max looked up to see Evie. "Come here," Max said. Evie came over to him.

"Mama ow?" Evie asked. Max held her close.

"She's okay," Max told her. Evie hid her head in Max's neck. Natalia was upstairs in Evie's bedroom asleep. Max took Evie and put her in bed. She was due a nap and Max didn't want her around the paramedics.

Skyler let another big scream and soon the living room was filled with a baby crying. "It's a girl!" Tom said. Skyler smiled and took her daughter from Tom.

"I wanna name her Shane Amelie Clarkson," Skyler said. Tom grinned and nodded. Mia was smiling.

The paramedics arrived and Skyler was taken to Hospital. Mia was in a lot of agony. "Call Chris, ask him to come and watch Evie," Mia said. Max nodded and called him.

Max said he would be at the Hospital as soon as Chris arrived to have Evie and Natalia.

Mia was in the delivery room. She was in so much pain. "Okay Amelia, we need you to push now," the Midwife said. Mia shook her head.

"I can't, it hurts too much," Mia cried. The midwife sighed and took Mia's hand.

"I know it does sweetie but it needs to be done," the midwife told her. Mia groaned and started pushing.

Max arrived at the Hospital and went straight to find Mia. "Amelia Tyler, where is she?" Max asked.

"Delivery."

Max rushed to the delivery room. He walked in just as a baby started crying. "Mia."

Mia looked up at Max and smiled. "It's a girl," Mia told him. Max smiled and walked over to Mia, he kissed her with passion. The nurse brought the baby over and Mia took her.

"She's so beautiful," Mia said. Max smiled.

"She is indeed," Max told her. Mia looked over at Max and she kissed him again. "Do you have a name in mind?" Max asked. Mia smiled.

"Scarlett," Mia said. Max nodded and took Scarlett from Mia. Mia was getting tired so she laid her head back. "Was Evie okay?" Mia asked. She was tired and dropping off to sleep.

"She was asleep when I left," Max told her. Mia smiled and looked at Max holding Scarlett. "I'll call Chris and ask him to bring Evie up," Max said.

Skyler was on the Maternity Ward. Shane was sleeping in the baby bed next to her. Mia was brought to the ward too. Max had the baby in his arms. "Oh my gosh. Is she okay?" Skyler asked. Max smiled.

"She's perfect. We named her Scarlett," Max told her. Skyler grinned. Mia was asleep.

Chris got to the Hospital with Kim, Evie and Natalia. "Chris, you're not allowed to start here. Mia will be in agony," Kim told him. Chris and Kim's son was with Chris' parents.

"I won't. I just want Mia to be happy," Chris said. Kim smiled and kissed him.

Chris and Kim went into the Maternity Ward. They saw Mia and Skyler sitting together. "Hey you," Chris said. Mia looked up and saw Evie.

"Hi boo," Mia said. Evie giggled and held her arms out for Mia. Max put Scarlett in bed and took Evie. "Evie, this your baby sister Scarlett," Mia told her. Evie frowned.

"Baba?" Evie asked. Mia smiled and nodded. Evie tried to fall out of Max's arms. "Mama!"

Max placed Evie on the bed and she cuddled into Mia. "Do you wanna hold Scarlett?" Mia asked her. Evie nodded so Max took Scarlett from bed and placed her in Evie's small arms.

Natalia was jealous of her baby sister. She was getting all the attention. "Daddy hug!" Natalia demanded. Tom smiled.

"In a minute sweet heart. Daddy's holding the baby," Tom told her. Natalia pouted and started crying. "What's wrong?" Tom asked her. Natalia glared at him.

"Hug daddy," she said. Tom handed Shane over to Skyler and hugged Natalia. "My daddy."

Tom sighed, he knew Natalia would be jealous of her baby sister. "Look honey, your little sister wants to say hello," Skyler told her. Natalia shook her head.

"No mummy. My daddy, my mummy," Natalia said. Skyler sighed as Tom kissed her.

Both new mum's had been released from Hospital with their newborn daughters. Tom and Skyler were going back to Mia and Max's for while. Scarlett and Shane both slept in their carseats. Evie was confused about there being two new babies. "My baba too?" Evie asked. Mia smiled as Evie sat between the carseats.

"Evie baby, come here," Mia said. Evie shook her head.

"Stay babas," Evie told her. Mia grinned and she sat on the floor as best she could.

"See this little girl here, she's Tom and Skyler's baby and this little one here is mummy and daddy's baby," Mia told Evie. Evie giggled.

"My baba's," Evie said. Skyler smiled. Natalia had been sat on Tom's lap since they had arrived at Mia and Max's. "Kyler, my baba," Evie said to Skyler.

A couple of hours later Tom and Skyler gathered their daughters and said bye. "Thanks for today," Skyler said. Mia grinned.

"Double labour? I'd rather have double English," Mia told her. Skyler laughed and hugged Mia before leaving with Tom.

Max had gotten Evie settled for bed while Mia sorted out the moses basket for Scarlett. Max came back down and sat with Mia. "You don't regret anything do you?" Mia asked him.

Max looked at her in confusion. "Regret what?"

Mia sighed and looked at Scarlett. "Evie and Scarlett, you don't regret it do you?" Mia asked. Max shook his head.

"Of course not. I love you and them," Max told her. Mia smiled and she kissed him.

Tom had managed to get Shane and Natalia to sleep. Skyler went straight up to bed and fell asleep. Tom watched his daughters sleeping peacefully. Josh was coming back tomorrow so he needed to tell him he had another little sister.

Tom joined Skyler in bed and he fell asleep straight away.

Mia and Max lay in bed together and Mia cuddled into him. "I don't want another baby just yet," Mia told him. Max smirked and kissed her head. "So, Mr Tyler that means protection if there's gonna be any funny business."

Max nodded and kissed her passionatley. "I love you Mia," Max told her. Mia smiled.

"I love you too," Mia said. They both fell asleep soon after.
