~~Previously~~
Mia and Max were still in the office and Max wanted to kiss her. "I'll bring Evie round on Friday. You still live at the same address right?" Max nodded "I do" Mia grinned. Max placed his hand on Mia's chin and turned her head towards him "I've wanted to do this for a long time" Mia frowned as Max moved his mouth towards hers. She did the same just as the door opened...

~~ Now~~

Mia pushed Max away as Rachel came in "is everything alright?" Mia nodded "Mr Tyler wanted to know when he could see Evie. He has a right too" Rachel sighed and nodded "Mia, you should be in class" Mia stood and looked at Max who winked discreetly and she left.

Skyler was walking down the corridor upset. She should have known that Tom wouldn't love her anymore. He had Rose now. "Skyler?" Skyler turned to see Mia "are you okay?" Skyler shook her head "no, I'm not" Mia sighed "what happened?" Skyler looked at Mia and broke down crying "Tom, he said that he wanted Natalia in bed early because Rose and her kids were coming round tonight so I said that I should move out and he said maybe it's for the best" Mia was shocked "I can always Chris if you can stay with us" Skyler smiled "will he be okay with that?" Mia nodded "I want him to be outnumbered by girls".

Mia went to speak with Chris and Kim was there "Chris, I'm obviously your favorite sister right?" Chris looked up and Kim laughed "what you after?" Mia smiled "can Skyler and Natalia come and stay with us? Tom doesn't want them staying there" Chris frowned and Kim spoke "why?" Mia shrugged "says that it's for the best because of him dating Rose" Chris sighed "I'll speak to Rachel and Max" Mia nodded "thanks, she has nowhere else".

Skyler sat in the library crying when Mia came in "Chris is speaking with Miss Mason and Max but he said you should be able too stay with us" Skyler smiled in thanks "I thought me and Tom would be forever you know? I had that feeling that we would have two more kids together and got married. Maybe even get a dog" Mia smiled "that sounds perfect" Skyler shrugged "it's all in my head now, he can have all that with Rose" Mia hugged Skyler "how about, we go to créche and go see our baby girls?" Skyler nodded "okay".

Mia and Skyler were sitting in the créche and Evie threw up over her dress "I swear she saves the sick for me" Skyler smiled "she's so cute" Mia grinned "when she's not being sick" Skyler laughed "how was Mr Tyler with her?" Mia sighed and she spoke "he's not had her on his own yet but the day I came back he held her and she took to him" Skyler nodded "I met Tom's step-daughters Chlo and Mika. They were nice" Mia grinned "I heard Chlo got pregnant in her final year" Skyler nodded "she did. Izzie, she's nearly two".

Max was determined to have Mia back. When she was gone he never stopped loving her and when he held his daughter for the first time he loved her too.

Chris had asked to speak with Max and Rachel about Skyker staying with him, Kim and Mia. Once they were in the office Chris spoke "Mia has told me that Tom thinks it's best if Skyler moves out with her daughter so I was thinking that maybe she could come and stay with me, Mia and Kim" Rachel thought for a moment but Max spoke "if it's Skyler wants then I don't see the harm" Chris nodded "I'll tell Skyler then".

Mia and Skyker left the créche and they were heading to lesson "Max is having Evie this weekend. I think he wants to spend some time with her" Skyler smiled and spoke "how do you feel about that?" Mia shrugged "I want Max and Evie to have a relationship. He's her father and deep down I still love him but I know nothing could ever happen again" Skyler sadly smiled "have you been dating anyone since you were gone?" Mia scoffed "yeah right. I was pregnant. Who would wanna be with that?" Skyler smiled "you're beautiful Mia. Any guy would be lucky to have you" Mia grinned "there's only one man I've ever properly been in love with and that's Max".

Max went to the créche to see his daughter. When he got there he heard her crying "what's wrong with her?" the key-worker looked up "she's being grizzly. We've sent someone to fetch Mia" Max sighed and took Evie from her "there's no need to get Mia. I can handle this" Max settled Evie just as Mia came in "they said she was crying. Is she okay?" Max nodded "she's fine" Mia grinned and kissed Evie's head.

School had eventually ended so Mia went to fetch Evie "come over when you're ready" Skyler smiled "thanks Mia" Mia grinned and she puck Evie up "come on baby girl. See you later".

Skyler was packing up her's and Natalia's stuff when Tom came in "where are you staying?" Skyler looked up and spoke "with Mia and Mr Mead" Tom nodded "at least you'll be safe" Skyler rolled her eyes "cut the crap. We both know you don't give a damn" Tom glared "if you're taking my daughter away then I have a right to know" Skyler scoffed "get out my way, I wanna leave" Tom looked at Natalia who looked scared "I'll have her on the weekend" Skyler nodded "okay, I'll bring her on Friday".

Mia was playing with Evie on the playmat when the door knocked "that'll be Skyler" Mia looked up and grinned as Skyler came in with Natalia "hey, how was it?" Skyler shrugged "horrible. It was tense" Mia sadly smiled and she puck Evie up "come on, let's go chat".

Once in Mia's room Skyler placed Natalia on the bed that was still here for Skyler "what did Tom say?" Skyler sighed "asked ne where I was staying so I said why do you care and it caused a lot of tension between us" Mia sighed "look, the way I see it is this. You have to do what's best for you and Natalia. Maybe you'll learn to co-parent with him".

A couple of hours later Mia and Skyler put Evie and Natalia to bed and they sat on Mia's balcony talking "does Max know how you feel?" Mia shook her head "no, I wanna settle back in first before anything like that happens" Skyler nodded and spoke "maybe you should tell him. Saves any hassle or unexpected love making sessions in the office" Mia grinned and burst out laughing "I remember that. I think I had been at the school for about 3 months".

A few hours later both girls climbed into bed and fell asleep after chatting for a bit longer.
