Rayne's POV

After talking to Jess she seemed like a bit of weight was lifted from her shoulders and made an effort to socialise. And then suddenly I remembered something or someone. I quickly rushed outside searching for my most prized possession. I walked up to dad and his friends cooking the bbq.

"Dad wheres Simba?" I asked eager to see him again. But just as my dad was about to answer we heard a growl and I turned around to see my beautiful liger jumping over the tables and bumbing into others and pushed the top half of his body up and wrapped his arms around my shoulders hugging me. I hugged him back, running my hand along his fur breathing in his scent. He pushed me to the ground licking the side of my face as the others watched and awe at us.

"Wow look at you Simba! Your huge! Awe I missed you my little cutie." I say in a baby voice causing him to purr as I rubbed under his chin. My parents found him in the wild as a baby who was abandoned and injured barely living when they were crossing the wilderness to get to another pack territory for a meeting. They took him in and cared for him until he was healthy and strong enough to go back into the wild, but I already formed a bond with him and he wouldn't leave so we decided to keep him. He loves it here and hes always enjoying himself, his aura was pure.

We layed on the grass with me cuddle into his fur as his arm was draped over me. I felt him lick my hair.

"Siimbaaa that's gross." I whined as he licked my hair again.

"Rayne!"

I looked up to see Rylee and our bestfriend Alex, hes the Beta's son. I got up and hugged him.

"Damn Rayne you filled out!" He said checking me out. I punched his arm and rolled my eyes.

"Still the same Alex." I chuckled.

"And your still abusive." He mumbled rubbing where I hit him.
We sat down by Simba and catched up as they told me all that's happened.

"No way! Ashley and Ryan are mates?!" I laughed not believing this. "You guys are lying!"

"Turn around and see for yourself." Alex smirked at me. Of course I turned and I see Ashley and Ryan holding hands whispering and sneaking kisses. They use to be enemies, their feuds were famous in our pack and they always pulled pranks on each other trying to embarrass one another. So to come back home and see them together not arguing was a miracle.

I turned back to Rylee and Alex and saw him give her a pointed look.

"Okay just tell me already." I say looking at Rylee. She avoided eye contact and laughed awkwardly, "Tell you what?"

I rolled my eyes and gave her a blank look. "Do you want me to get a bucket for the bullshit that's spilling out of your mouth?"

She finally looked at me with weary eyes not sure how I was going to react to whatever she had to say.
"I found my mate." She says slowly backing away. Wow she found her mate. I smiled knowing that shes happy because shes always wanted a mate. But then my smile drops and turns into a scowl. If he ever hurts her I'm going to kill him and his pack!

"Rayne?" Rylee whispered looking worried.

"Alex get our finest worriors ready in 5, okay Rylee I want to know his name, what pack hes from, what rank he is, how many girlfriends hes had and the last time he masterbated." I say totally serious. I'm only going to warn him once and after that there's no more chances.

Rylee panicked and jumped on me to hold me down. "No please! He's harmless he's perfect for me Rayne! I'm not going to let you hurt him!" She growled lowly and I see her eyes flash purple meanig her wolf was showing how protective she is over what's hers.

"As much as I want to side with you Rayne, Rylee's right. He's clean I've already done some of my own research on him and hes a decent guy." Alex says reassuringly.

I pushed Rylee off of me and sat up.
"Okay, so tell me what I want to know." I sighed waiting for him to continue.

"Well he's a royal for starters and the Alpha's second son, he's also a twin. His name is Chase Taylor of the Redstone pack. He has no history of having a girlfriend before Rylee so thats good and um just wondering, why do you want to know the last time he masterbated?" He asked curiously.

"So I know how close he is to mating with Rylee. The more he masterbates the more he wants to bed her. And I know they haven't mated because her scent hasn't changed." Rylee looked away as her cheeks started to go red.

"Redstone pack....Isn't the previous Luna the one that was the prophecy?"

They nodded in response. So that means her powers must have passed on to her children as well. "Do they know about our secret? That we have the same powers as them but more out of control?" I ask.

"No, I was waiting for you to come back to ask what you would think of the idea of me telling Chase about us." She says.

"I think you should, but just your mate. I want to see if we can trust him."

"Kids! Food's ready come and get it!" Dad calls out to us.

"Well that's my que." Alex says standing up and walking to where the food is.

"Be careful around him Ry, you never know he could lose control over his powers and hurt you." I say to her as we get up.

"I know Ray but He's not like that. When you meet him tomorrow you'll see he's the sweetest guy for me." She says grabbing my arm. "Now let's go eat before the boys take all the good stuff." I nodded in agreement.
