Rayne's POV

It's been a week since I lost control to my wolf and since then I've been going to Luna Lexi for help. My wolf seems to be at ease when she is near and she has helped me improve on having more control over Faith. Every time I went to their territory the pack members have avoided being at least 20 metres away from me afraid as if I would lose control with just a single look.

Right now I was sitting outside in the backyard with the Luna clearing my head of all the what ifs and negative energy. For the first time ever my wolf has been at peace and not wanting blood and I needed to give her more control when I'm in wolf form because all I did was kept her locked in afraid of what she would do.

"You ready Rayne?" Lexi asked.

I took a deep breath and looked around us as there were guards waiting for me to shift and getting ready to jump in to protect their Luna while my guards stood guard ready to hold me down if faith steps out of line. Suddenly the Alpha and Chance came out and stood near the guards.

"Okay Faith, screw this up and I'll be sure to lock you up for good." I threatened as She rolled her eyes at me.

"It's in my blood that I want to hurt anyone I see but since our mate is here, I will play nice." She says in a sickly voice.

I quickly shifted into my red wolf and let Faith take full control as I stood watch in the back of her mind. All the guards tensed and stood in a protective stance and the Alpha quickly shifted and stood in front of the Luna growling which in turn made Faith get mad. Immediately Chance shifted and stood in front of me and growled at his dad.

"Enough! You two better cut it out or I'll throw my shoes at your fellas head! Now I want you two to step back and give Faith space. Caden I will deal with you later now I want everyone to be calm, make one threatening move and Faith will kill you. Do not test her." She warns as I see the guards gulp nervously.

Faith walks over to our mate slowly and rubs against him spreading her scent over him as he licked our snout causing her to purr. She then eyes the Alpha wolf deciding if she should attack him.

"Behave, remember whose territory you're on." I warned making sure I take control if she decides to attack. She huffed and walked passed him towards the Luna which made the Alpha tense. We rubbed against the Luna automatically engulfed in her welcoming energy. The reason why my wolf feels at peace with her is because she is the closest thing to the Moon Goddess. We then heard a whine from behind us and turned to see Chance. I rolled my eyes at him as Faith went to check if he was okay then cuddled into him while licking his face making him purr from the sparks.

"Okay Faith good work. Now I know I can trust you, but for how long..."

"Mmmm shush, mate feels good."

I took control and ran behind a tree where spare clothes were waiting for me. Once I was changed I walked back to the others.

"I'm so proud of you Rayne, Chance go change and get something to snack on with Rayne. Caden my office now." She walked inside with the Alpha following her. I went to the kitchen and waited for Chance while eating choc chip cookies on the counter.

"Well well well look who it is, Miss Rayne." I mentally roll my eyes as Chase takes a seat and grabs a cookie. "How was training?" he asked with a mouthful of cookie.

"Don't act like you care." He laughed while taking another cookie.

"But your my sister in law, I have to care because we're basically family now." He says nonchalantly. My body froze as I thought about what he just said. 'sister in law'
