And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you feel me somehow~
I had been beating myself up all week about what happened with Luke and what the fuck I was going to do about it. Eventually I had decided that without another solution, Calum's idea was the best I had. So there I sat, writing out the text that had the potential to save my ass or make it burn in hell. It turns out that Luke's number was in my phone, though I still don't have any recollection of him giving it to me.
To: Your prince charming aka the hottie that rescued you from that alleyway (the name he had given himself was rather creative (and true), I'll give him that.)
Hi Luke its Michael. I know you don't wanna talk to me right now but could you at least give me a chance to explain myself to you? It would be awesome if you'd let me take you out somewhere, just to talk and stuff. I guess just let me know then...thanks :)
The minute that I hit send I was cringing. Hopefully Luke would find the text less tragic but let's be honest he probably wouldn't. I waited in a state of mental turmoil for five whole minutes until the worst thing imaginable happened.

At first my face lit up and I stared at the screen with an influx of butterflies occupying my stomach. That was until 2 minutes passes and I hadn't even seen any sign of a response. Luke was ignoring me.
Why the fuck did I ever trust Calum to give me dating advice anyway, the guy had been single for over 2 years and most of his relationships hadn't lasted much longer than a month. Although he still knew a considerable amount more than me who had only had one relationship in my entire life. That relationship was also with a girl, from the days in which I was desperate to repress my sexuality. Despite the painfully obvious cold shoulder that Luke was giving me I remained in the same position with my eyes fixed expectantly on my screen. After a further 10 minutes of Luke ignoring me I decided to be true to myself and get to him another way... That way was to quite simply annoy the shit out of him until he's too pissed off to ignore me any longer. Calum is very familiar with this technique of mine because he, amongst everyone else knows I'm not one for waiting around. To: Your prince charming aka the hottie who rescued you from that alleyway
Lukeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Luke Luke Luke Luke Luke
pls Lukey notice me
senpai
LUCAS JUST FUCKING REPLY
I decided that those messages would be sufficient for now because I was afraid Luke would block my number if I gave him any more pet names.
As I was about to shut my phone off in a state of temporary defeat, I saw the bubble I had been craving, with 3 animated dots bouncing in the middle. A smug smile infected my face before I could even blink. I watched intensely as I waited for his message to be delivered. From: Your Prince Charming aka the hottie that rescued you from that alleyway
Never call me Lucas or Lukey ever again
I could almost hear how salty and aggressive his tone was as I saw the message, yet I still couldn't help but giggle at his response. I started crafting my next message almost instantly.

Fine but only on one condition
The bubbles re-appeared and my grin was growing at an alarming rate.

And that would be??
To: Your Prince Charming aka the hottie that rescued you from that alleyway
...that you go on that date with me
From: Your Prince Charming aka the hottie that rescued you from that alleyway
You are such a dick but I hate those pet names so much that I would genuinely rather go on a date with you, as much as it pains me to say it. Pick me up at 7:30
I chocked on Oxygen as his text came through. Even though I had been bugging him about it for a considerable amount of time today I would have never expected him to accept my offer. I could barely even pull Calum's contact up in my phone I was so shaky.
I pressed call in more of a hurry than I ever had before.
"G'day mate?" He greeted, mocking his own culture.
"Calum, fuck!" I shouted at him down the phone, I could hear the levels of excitement in his voice increase.
"'Sup?" He questioned casually even though he knew full well that something big had happened.
"He fucking said yes." I almost squealed.
"I told you I was a love expert Michael and you didn't believe me." Calum remarked with a complacent tone.
"Shut the fuck up Calum, this was all me." I fought back swiftly. "I used my signature move and just annoyed the shit out of him until he agreed." I spoke proudly
"You dun goofed Clifford." And I agreed with him. "Is it tonight?"
"Yup." I gulped as the realisation smacked me right in the balls. What the fuck would I wear? do I get him a gift? What will we talk about? Fuck. I didn't have the slightest clue. "Cal come and get me, I'm at my house. I'm gonna need your help." I demanded.
"Gotcha buddy." He replied, hanging up soon after.
Calum was here within 5 minutes and the nerves slowly filtered into my body as we neared 7:30.
"Can we stop off at the store please? I'm gonna get dye." Calum sighed. My current hair colour was fading so I needed a fresh one. I settled for the most vibrant blue there was and we headed back to my second home where I would proceed to get ready for one of the most important nights of my teenage life.
