Breaking It Hard

As soon as Dipper woke up, he immediately started his usual routine. He got dressed, brushed his teeth, and skipped breakfast. Even though he always has time to eat it. It wasn't a work day, but it's just what he always does to start his day. He grabbed his jacket and hat, then walked out the shack without even saying bye to Stan.

When Dipper crawled into his truck, he sat there for a second. He thought about everything that was going to happen today. He knew it wouldn't end well. For either him or Pacifica. Being the final day in Gravity Falls wasn't gonna be easy on him either. Especially now that he and Stan are butting heads.

He looked back out his windshield, knowing he better get it over with. He needs to keep his job... Even if it meant breaking someone else's heart. And deep down, he knew it was gonna break his too. His first relationship in years, and he has to stop it to keep his best job yet. Such a cruel world..

Right before he pulled down the stick to back out, he heard his phone rang. "Please don't be Pacifica.." Dipper sighed to himself. He looked at the title, and he closed his eyes in remorse. "Hey.." He quietly answered. "Hey Dipstick! Just wanted to see if you wanted me to cook you some of my special breakfast." He heard the cheerful voice.

"Yeah. Sounds great." Dipper tried to sound casual. "Awesome. See ya in a few minutes. *kissy sound*" She then hung up. "Oh man.." He bashed his head softly on the steering wheel. He felt like crying, but told himself he was too old to. That he was too mature to.

He pulled out of the driveway, and turned to the dirt road. "Here you go Dipper... Lose the best one of your life to keep a stupid job.." He said shamefully to himself.

Pacifica pulled the pan out of the oven, excited for Dipper to finally try her food. She didn't have a care or thought in the world, unless it involved him. "He's gonna love this omelet.." She said happily to herself. She was always happy to see the doofus.

She put the pan on the counter to let it cool off. She then slid an omelet from a frying pan straight onto a white plate. And another on to a blue plate. She was gonna drool just looking at it, if Dipper didn't hurry up and get to her mansion.
"Where are you nerd.." She asked out loud.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* she then heard. "Finally!" She squealed in joy. She jumped up, and adjusted her apron. She also pulled her shirt down a little to show small cleavage. She then ran straight for the door. She saw through her peep hole, Dipper standing at the door in his usual attire.

She opened the door and looked at him. "Took ya long enough. I'm starving! Been up since 5!" She complained with her usual friendly smile. But, for some reason he didn't seem to smile. "Dipper.. What's wrong?" She asked.

"Pacifica... There's something I gotta tell you..." Dipper said with his head drooped down, with his eyes closed. "What is it? Are you alright.?" She said in concern. "Yeah... No. No I'm not." Dipper sighed. "Look if it's about you leaving tomorrow it's fine! We can work this out!" She said quickly.

"No Pacifica... We can't. I..." He stopped. "You what! Stop hesitating and tell me!" She finally yelled. "I... Can't see you anymore. This won't work.." He finally said. He felt, the coldness of his heart freeze the rest of him.

When he finally opened his eyes, he saw that heartbreaking look, on Pacifica's face. "We can do this!! Dipper I really like you!! I can't just forget you like a bad habit!" She said with a quivering lip. "I'm sorry.. But we can't be together." He said with the most remorse he's ever felt.

"You can leave everything! This is your real home Dipper! You miss this place! I know you do!!... You know you do.." She said sadly. He stared at her with glossy eyes. "Forget about me Pacifica..
We're done.." He finally said.

Pacifica didn't know what to do... Or say. But to her and Dipper's surprise, she brought her hand up and smacked his right cheek as hard as she could. Leaving him stunned and heartbroken. "GROW UP DIPPER PINES!!" She then screamed with tears streaming down her face.

She then slammed the door in his face. There was nothing she could do. She bawled her eyes out, and silently stared at the omelets on the counter she made. She then stormed over to them, and swiped them off the counter, leaving the plates break on the floor.

She then put her arms down on the table, and cried into her elbows. What else could she do? Then only man in her life she actually wanted, that didn't just want constant sex with the rich model. "H-how could you D-Dipper!!" She bawled loudly.

"I gave up everything for you!! And y-you're just gonna leave me.." She could barely speak passed the cracking of her voice. She remembered ditching her trip to LA to stay with Dipper. And canceling her workout. Then she remembered, she had a cancelled flight for this evening. That got her thinking.

She had 6 hours before the luxurious jet left, so she had to make a quick decision. She finally lifted her head up, and looked at her phone. She then stared at it, in deep thought. She stopped moaning with pain, and finally settled down.

She slid her phone with her nails to her. When she got to her dial pad, she immediately clicked on Sam's icon. She waited patiently for the ringing to stop. "This is Samantha Rose. How may I help you?" She heard her friend answer.

"Sam... It's Pacifica." She answers. "Pacifica? Why are you calling my work phone?" She asked. "Forget that. Remember that trip to the Oscars I cancelled to stay with Dipper.." She sagged. "Yes, why?" She continued. "Put it back on track. I'll leave tonight." Pacifica sniffed.

"Oh wow. Alright then. I'll call your pilot. Anything else?" Samantha asked. "No. See ya then." Pacifica hung up, without saying bye. She tossed her phone back on a chair in her kitchen, then turned to look at a mirror. She was horrified by the outcome.

Her mascara was running, while she had bags under her eyes. She lightly wiped a tear from her left eye, trying not to smear it any worse. Then, she turned to look back on the floor, at the broken glass plates and squished omelets. But she still didn't bother to clean it up.

She just turned around, and walked back upstairs to prepare for her trip. Even though the plane wasn't to depart until 6:00, she still has other matters to tend to, to pack and pick out which dress to wear to the award show.
