When you woke up, the sun was shining through the large window across from your bed, giving you the perfect view of the ocean right outside. You were cuddled into Luke's side, your legs entangled with his much longer ones. One of his arms was wrapped around your waist and the other was soothingly rubbing your hair. You glanced up at Luke and saw that he was staring out of the window, thinking deeply about something.

"Good morning, princess," he said in his gravely morning voice when he realized that you were awake.

"Hi," you looked into his eyes and smiled shyly. His hair was messy and he had a lazy smile on his face as he stared at you loving. He bent his head down slightly to press a light kiss on your forehead that made your heart flutter before leaning his head back against the pillow and staring outside once more.

"What are you thinking about?" You asked, sitting up more so your head could lay on Luke's shoulder and pulling the sheets up more to cover your bare chest.

"You. Us. How lucky I am," he grinned at you and squeezed your side slightly.

You averted your eyes from him shyly, "Stop, you're making me blush."

"I know what I'm doing," Luke pinched your cheek playfully, "You look adorable when you blush."

The redness grew on your cheeks and the two of you slipped into a comfortable silence as you stared out the window.

"Do you remember our first date?" You heard Luke question after a few minutes of silence.
You giggled, "Of course, how could I forget? It was one of the cutest dates I've ever been on."
"Cute?" Luke gave you a confused look, "The restaurant turned out to be terrible, plus the waiter dropped my food on me and I accidentally knocked your water over and ruined your dress.

"I know, but you were so cute with your flat hair," You began, grinning up at the blonde boy who had changed quite a bit since you first met him.

"Ugh, don't remind me of that hair. Or the awful clothes I was wearing," he shook his head, "I remember seeing you and you looked so beautiful in your dress and I kept thinking 'There's no way she likes me or will want to go on a second date with me. She's too good for me.'"

"I think you're exaggerating, Luke. Yeah, you looked dorky, but it was actually really adorable and I had a huge crush on you, which I think was pretty obvious. Plus that dress was horrid, I don't think anyone could look beautiful in that," you told him.

Luke raised his eyebrows, "You looked extremely beautiful in that dress. Of course, you look beautiful in everything you wear - or don't wear," he smirked, his eyes dropping to your body, which was covered by the sheet.

"Luke, stop," you laughed, playfully hitting his arm. He grinned and returned his line of sight to your face, placing a quick kiss to your lips and pulling you closer to him.

"But I'm serious, (y/n), everyone thought you were too good for me. You're like a goddess and I'm some guy in a band," he spoke honestly.

You laughed at your loving but oblivious boyfriend, "I'm sure you could ask any one of your fans and they would tell you just how attractive you are. You're the one that's too good for me."

"Why don't we settle this and just say that we're perfect for each other," Luke suggested, and you smiled up at him.

"I like that idea, I think we are," you told him. Luke leaned his forehead against yours, his eyes seeming to stare into your soul.

"I love you, Mrs. Hemmings," he whispered softly. You smiled and blushed at your new name, one that you had acquired only a day ago.

"I love you, too, Mr. Hemmings."

Luke pressed another light kiss to your lips and smiled at you, "I really am lucky, you know. To have a wife as beautiful and amazing and caring as you are."

"Stop flattering me," you blushed, a small smile on your face.

"Hm... I don't think so," Luke smirked and stroked your cheek with his index finger, "Mrs. (y/n) Hemmings, you are the most beautiful person in the entire world. You mean more to me than anyone else I know and you agreeing to marry me was the best thing to ever happen to me. I know you always remind me that there's no such thing as perfect, but I still think you're perfect and nothing will ever change my mind because even your flaws make you perfect. Every time you smile or laugh or kiss me, I fall more in love with you, and I don't think I'll ever stop falling in love with you.

You're the most amazing person in this entire universe and I'm so glad we get to spend the rest of our lives together."

By the end of his speech there were tears welling in your eyes. You buried your face in his chest and wrapped your arms around him, only a few tears leaving your eyes as he rubbed your back delicately.

"You wanna know something?" You asked as you held your head up to look at Luke. He wiped a few of the remaining tears away from your eyes gently and smiled at you.

"What?" He asked.

"I'm so glad I agreed to that second date."
