Chapter 4

JongIn looked at Kyungsoo silently texting in his phone while waiting for him on their table. He can see that the food they order has come and Kyungsoo did not move the food in front of him. He sit across him and study his figure carefully. Kyungsoo put down his phone upon noticing that he has arrived.

"Lets eat then after here you can leave." JongIn said coldly.

"Yes sir." Kyungsoo answered.

"Kyungsoo? Do you perhaps has anything to ask about the task I just asked you to do?" Suddenly JongIn asked the silent guy.

"Are treating him as your enemy or a friend? What you going to do if you know who he is?" Kyungsoo plainly said putting down his chopsticks.

JongIn has caught speechless for a while.

"I don't know Kyungsoo. I just need to know who he is. People can be deceitful." JongIn answered.

Kyungsoo just take his answer and just look at him after.

"Do you still have anything to say?" JongIn continued.

"Nothing Sir." Kyungsoo replied politely.

They eat silently. JongIn still feel that Kyungsoo still has something to ask but he just cant say it. He look at his new secretary who he hired weeks ago. Surprisingly he has endured his mood swings and his short temper. If he got mad and he give him a lot of pressure, Kyungsoo just nod and do whatever he wants. Kyungsoo must possess something he cant explain.

"Kyungsoo by chance are you not thinking of resigning?" Suddenly he asked that caused the round eyes of Kyungsoo to almost pop out and almost threw up the food on his mouth

"You just fire me Sir?" Kyungsoo said surprised.

"No not that!" JongIn immediately replied. "What Im trying to say is that you seemed to adjust to the pressure really fast."

"I don't have a choice though. It's part of the job I applied for, so why do I have to complain?" He smiled after saying that.

JongIn's chest ache as he saw that heart shaped lips. He immediately shrug off the feeling.

"Sir, are you okay?" Kyungsoo asked when he noticed that JongIn's expression has changed.

"No. Im fine. Lets finish eating so that you can leave. Seems that you have an appointment."

Kyungsoo did not answer. He just eat and waited for JongIn to finish his meal.

Minseok just look at the papers that Kyungsoo handed to him. He then look at Kyungsoo sitting in front of him silent and bit worried.

"So, are going to do this Kyungsoo?" Kyungsoo's orphanage best friend asked.

"I don't know hyung?" He replied.

"Just do it. I think you just give him what you should give. I know what you are worrying now but, please be careful." Minseok put back the documents back to the envelope and handed it back to Kyungsoo.

"Did Channie knows about this?"

Kyungsoo sigh. He look at the older hyung much more worried than him.

"He doesn't have to know hyung. He has too much with Sehun already and I don't want to be a burden to him." He replied. His sleepy round eyes give him the hint for him to go home so he stand up and grab his bag. "Im going to Channie Hyung. I'll see you again regarding this." He said raising the envelope.

Minseok just nod at Kyungsoo. How can Kyungsoo be so hapless about his life? They grow up in the orphanage together and he saw how the sisters treated him, they were harsh to Kyungsoo and was never considerate to him. They both don't know regarding their parents until Kyungsoo started to look for the adjuma that brought him to the orphanage when he was still about one year old but they found out that the adjuma was already dead. When orphanage got closed because of financial difficulty, they were teens at that time, they both live in the streets. Until they met Baekhyun and his family. Baekhyun's family adopted Kyungsoo and he was adopted by the convent nearby the Byun household. After college graduation Kyungsoo started to look for his real family but his quest has ended in an ill-fated state. Now that he is working, he landed into a job within the circle of dragons and lions he thought he adored.

Channie just sit watching Kyungsoo who is very busy cooking for dinner for the two of them. Kyungsoo was out from work earlier than expected so he just drop by at Channie's office and they went together at his place.

"Kyungie, are you really fine working with your boss? Being a secretary is quite a demanding job?" Channie asked while he reach for the bowl of pasta in the table and played the pasta with his fingers.

"Uhhmm. Yeah. Just a while ago my boss asked me if by chance I have some plan to resign." He said in between his small laugh as he turn to Channie.

"What?" Channie laughed. "He must have third sense!"

Kyungsoo turned off the electric stove and get the bowl of pasta that Channie is playing with.

"It's some sort of complement. He said that how come I adjusted to the pressure really fast." Kyungsoo said proud of himself causing Chanyeol's eyes to become big and then laughed at his boyfriend's reaction.

"So you really did well huh?" Chanyeol stand up and run to Kyungsoo and give him a back hug. "Im so proud of my honey. Just don't overwork yourself and relax. You still have to give yourself a break." He then give Kyungsoo a kiss on his milky white shoulder.

"Honey, do you think one small kiss is enough?" Kyungsoo put the bowl in the sink and then turned to face Channie. "My boss really is so hard to please so I guess I deserve a bigger reward." He snaked his arms to his lover's neck and tip toed to adjust to his tall height. "Maybe after dinner, Hmmn?" Then he give him a double wink.

Chanyeol laughed and carried his lover up and let him sit in the counter.

"You are the biggest tease in my life huh?" Chanyeol lean forward and give a small kiss on Kyungsoo's neck. Kyungsoo giggle and slightly hit Chanyeol's shoulder.

"I know." Kyungsoo adjusted his position to sit himself comfortably. Kyungsoo cupped the giant's face and leaned to kiss Chanyeol.

"Im home!" They parted when they heard a loud bang of the door from the living room and then Sehun's loud voice. Sehun Chanyeol's younger brother.

"Yah. Can you just evaporate in just a moment?" Chayeol yell that makes Kyungsoo laugh.

"Why should I? Im hungry and I smell something really delicious!" Sehun's voice become nearer and then he appeared at the kitchen's enstrance. "Im hungry. Feed me too Kyungsoo hyung neh?"

"Araseo!" He nodded then he looked at Chanyeol. "Let me go." Chanyeol released Kyungsoo and helped him to step down from the counter. "Ill just finish this and lets have dinner."

"Let me help." Sehun said.

"Sure." Kyungsoo laughed and give his lover a wink once again.
