Chapter 16

Jongin left his room dark and he held his phone tight on his hands. His friend called, doctor Luhan and informed him regarding Kyungsoo's initial results.

"Its worse than I expected, Jongin Im sorry. He has to be admitted immediately otherwise he wont survive. He will eventually be blind and I'm afraid I can't help him anymore."

His tears fell on his cheeks and the fears inside him is getting bigger. He can't afford to lose Kyungsoo and see him blind. No. Even if he has to spend all his wealth to cure Kyungsoo, he will do it.

The next morning, Jongin see Kyungsoo in the fast food near his house. He can see his face swollen and seems he cried. However Kyungsoo managed to smile and act as if he is fine.

"You cried." Jongin said as he placed the cup of coffee in front of Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo did not replied but instead he sighed.

"What happened?" Jongin continued.

"Baekhyun and Chanyeol has a relationship." He barely said. Jongin just froze. He did not expect it. "I told Baekhyun that I know about it. I know he was guilty and it was never easy for him to secretly love Channie while Chan is with me."

"So you fight?"

"No. I was trying to tell him not to be guilty because I cheated on Channie first but he got mad." He sip his coffee trying to hold the tear that he is about to shed.

"Soo, I suggest you to be admitted today." After a while Jongin said.

"Why? I thought I will go through councelling first?"

"Because, we need to." Jongin was about to tell Kyungsoo the truth but he is afraid to see Soo's reaction.

"Did the doctor told you I might get blind?" He emotionlessly replied.

"No-"

"Nini," Kyungsoo grab Jongin's hand and squish them. "Okay, I will admit myself today. I just need to find Baek first. He is not yet back and Lay hyung is so worried about him."

Jongin looked down, his chest began to ache. He is sure enough that Baek is hurt and Kyungsoo is even more broken now. He looked at his face, he cried he can see it.

They shared their breakfast silently and Jongin just look at Kyungsoo timidly picking his foods and gently wetting his lips by the coffee.

"Water?" He said in between their silence.

Kyungsoo smile painting a brief curve in his heart shaped lips. He make a quick glance at Jongin and take the glass from his hands.

"You are not used to taking care of sick people, are you sure you won't be bored taking care of me?" Kyungsoo said after he drinks his water.

Jongin make a small smile. Grab both of Kyungsoo's hands and give them a quick kiss.

"No. I won't. I will never ever. Remember that."

Right after their breakfast, Jongin dropped Kyungsoo in front of their house and bid him goodbye. As agreed, he will fetch Kyungsoo at around three in the afternoon to send him to the hospital.

Baekhyun hide himself behind the counter and take a small peek to the dining area of the fast food store. He saw Kyungsoo and Jongin talking and seems they are quite serious about their topic. He keep on looking at them until he saw Jongin kissing Kyungsoo's hands and Kyungsoo sadly smiled. So this is what Kyungsoo told him? He was cheating on Chanyeol. Since when did Jongin and Kyungsoo has a relationship and how long did they cheated on Chanyeol. The two stand up and he saw them heading to the parking area of the store.
