Chapter 20

A week has passed, it has been a long week but Jongin stll got nothing about Kyungsoo. The days passing making him more desperate, more depressed and angrier. His father still don't want to open up the things regarding Kyungsoo because the doctors wont allow him to visit. He just found out that it was Junmyeon's idea. Perhaps his hyung knows that if they are going to talk regarding Kyungsoo, it will just add to the stress and burden to the chairman.

Looking blankly at the wall inside his office, he looks miserable. His beard is growing and didn't even have to energy to tide himself. Yesterday, he lost a deal with French Investors worth three billion investments. The Empire is suffering now like him. How can he do this to his work. Jongdae has been very supportive in all way he could, making him a little bit at ease that he can do better, but Kyungsoo is crossing his mind over and over again, almost every breath he takes. He is gone, no parting words and he is sick. How can he still survive?

He heard Jongdae knocks and headed directly to him. He put the cup of coffee on this table and take a seat in front of his table.

"Anything?" He asked blankly.

"I wanted to talk to you Sir, not as your secretary but as your friend. Can I do that?" Jongdae said, Jongin looked at him confused.

"Why?"

"Because I cannot scold you when I talk to you as your secretary."

Jongin smiled bitterly. He has an idea what is Jondae is talking about.

"Ill give you five minutes."

"Its longer than I thought. But ill get straight to my point. Jongin, I'll talk to you as your Hyung, if you wanted to find Kyungsoo, please get yourself together. You cannot just be like this. This is not you anymore. Ill do everything I could to find him, please. I called the French investors, they are giving us a second chance to present our proposal. Please don't let this go again, otherwise, Im gonna slap you my resignation letter." He said in a straight scolding-Hyung tone.

"I thought you'll talk to me like my Hyung. Why are you talking about resignation?"

"I'll do as I please. Thank you sir."

Jongdae stand up and bowed.

"Jongdae-" Jongin called him before he can close the door.

"Thank you, you just save hundreds of job today." Jongin sincerely smiled.

Jongdae smiled in return.

Baekhyun is doing his final touches for his latest client presentation with Lay for the first time after Kyungsoo left. Lay is just looking down and seemed to be a lot messed. His presentation was full of errors and miscalculations. He silently corrected them as Lay just sit silently across him

His pale skin is getting paler this week and he is having eye bags. He must be sleeping less these days.

"Hyung?" He called which gain him a look from him.

"You have something to tell me riht? You look weird lately."

Lay did not replied but sighed.

"Spill it."

"Baek did you received something?" He asked putting down his pen on the table and bend on.

Before he can answer Lay, the door of their office opened and Chanyeol came in. He was rushing in his office uniform.

"Whats wrong?" Baek stood up.

"I think I should go out for a while. Call me when you needed me."

The moment Lay closed the door, Chanyeol came to him and held both of his shoulders.

"Whats wrong?"

"Kyungsoo sent us a video." Chanyoel replied with voice shaking.

"W-what?" He handed him the CD from his bag which Baek received shaking.

"What video is this?" Baek asked while mounting the CD to the CD to his laptop.

"I haven't seen it yet. But it was given to our receptionist which addressed to me. No name and address of sender but the penmanship of the label is Kyungsoo's."

Baek clicked the content of the CD and indeed it was a CD. There shown Kyungsoo in his hospital gown in his room in the hospital that day he asked Baek to get him some clothes at home.

Kyungsoo smiled at the camera and slightly closed his eyes.

"Ahh, Chanyeola, I know whats with you and Baek. I am whole heartedly sorry for causing you two burden in your relationship. Please take good care of Baek. He has been my mother, father and brother since I was a kid. He has spent his life for me. I would be gone for long. And I don't have time to give you my apologies and goodbyes. Baek don't be sorry for loving him, it is the most wonderful thing you did for yourself. You two deserve each other. If you feel that it is against our friendship, its not. I am happy for you. Love each other and be happy. Stop looking for me anymore. You wont find me. continue living as if Im gone forever. Ill be back it life permits. Tell Lay hyung, I love him so much every day. Bye." Then the video went off.

Baek didn't realized that his tears are continually flowing on his cheeks and Chanyeol too is covering his mouth to stop his sobs. He is gone? But why? How can they live normally if they don't know the reason why he left. He has to know. And maybe Lay knew the reason.

"I wont stop looking for him Baek, I wont!" Chanyeol punch his fist on the glass table that caused the laptop to almost fell from the edge.

"Chan, what happened to Jongin and Kyungie?"

Chanyeol shake his head silently.

Baek called Lay in and he came in relaxed or say, less tensed that them.

"Hyung, is this the one you asked me a while ago? Hyung what did really happened? Where is he?" Baek cried to Lay, as Chan assist him to stand. His body shaking and his cry is heavy.

They guided Baek to the nearest couch and give him water.

"Hyung where is he? Why is he running away?" Baek continued to cry shaking Lay.

"Listen to me Baekhyun, I don't know where he is now. Nobody knows except the Chairman." Lay replied with his voice started to shake.

"What? The chairman?"

"I was right it was because of Jongin all these time." Chanyeol hissed.

"It was because they are brothers."

The latest sentence that Lay said, froze the two, jaw dropped.

"W-what? What are you talking about Hyung?" Baekhyun cried harder. The disbelief in his face overflow through his tears and his trembling fingers holding Lay's collar.

"They are brothers Baekhyuna, the chairman suspected them two having a relationship and ended investigated Kyungsoo's past, then they found out that he was looking for his family. Until all the consequences told them that they are family, and it ended with a positive paternity test. In short, Jongin and Kyungsoo's relationship is pure incest."

The long pause of silece after Lay's explanation, BAek was left staring at the empty space. He cant believe that the chairman just take them away together, without considering the feelings of the people who cared for Kyungsoo when they were apart.

"Did Jongin knew anything about this?" Chanyeol asked.

"Junmyeon said, the chairman waited for him to finish his French project proposal before he will tell Jongin. Im sorry if I lied to you all regarding this. I was waiting for Kyungsoo to give sign that I should tell you. And that CD is the first."
