Chapter 27

The slap of the reality hits Jongin's face all over again as he confronted his dad. The anger that registers on the chairman's old face, the clenching in his teeth as he looks at the old lady behind Jongin. Mirae is crying and keeps on apologizing the sudden revelation she divulge to Jongin.

"Are you crazy to fed my son's mind a lie Mirae? How could you do this to him?" The chairman rise from his bed and grab his cane and walk to them. "And you Jongin? Could you just believe that just to justify your unwanted feelings towards your brother?"

"Im sorry Chairman, I cannot handle to watch him ruining himself anymore. Please let him go!" Mirae went outrage facing the old man. "Chairman my son has been there for you, please."

"You two go out from here before I can pull out my gun!"

The old man's growl echoed the carpeted wall of his room. He pointed them his cane and motioned them to get lost but Jongin didn't move a bit.

"Tell me if Adjumoni is telling the truth." Jongin cried.

"You saw the DNA test shown to you by Luhan and you cant just believe that? And you believe this poor old garbage!" Anger shaken chairman pushed Jongin away and turned back to his bed.

"Do you remember that when Inho was gone and your wife was losing her sanity? You went to me and you told me to sell my baby because I cant fed and give him a good life because Im just a ran away prostitute anyway? That my son will live all life in shame because his mother is just a prostitute? You forcedly take him away? Do you remember them?"

A strong hit landed on the old woman's body from the Chairman using his cane. The old woman grimaced for the amount of pain resulting from the hit. Jongin immediately covered her from the other coming hit.

"Get out from my house now! I don't want to stain my hands with your blood Mirae. You ungrateful old trash!"

Jongin take the old woman away from the chairman's room. He promised her not to be hurt anymore as he left to face the chairman again but the Chairman locked his room. No matter how many times did he knocked his door and shout or even punched and kicked it, he is not coming out.

Defeated, he went out see Minseok in his house. When he arrived in his house, He was surprised to see Luhan in front of the doctor's gate.

"Why are you here?" He asked to the flustered doctor as he close the door of his car.

'I talked to Minseok about something." He answered while lowering his head.

"Did something happened?"

Jongin was shocked when suddenly Luhan reached and hugged him.

"From now on, don't live in sadness anymore. Im sorry if I caused you all the mess in your life. Be strong Jongin." Then he let him go and went directly to his car parked across the gate.

Minseok was there at the living room as if he was waiting for him to come.

"Its almost midnight, what happened?" Minseok signaled him to sit down and Jongin did so.

"My Nanny told me that I was her son from an unknown man that the chairman just bought me because his wife is going out of her sanity because of Inho's death. Hyung, help me. I don't want to hurt anyone or myself anymore."

Minseok looked like he was thinking what kind of reaction he should give to the sudden revelation the younger told him. Honestly, Luhan has handed to him the real DNA tests that he conducted to Jongin and Kyungsoo. Nothing has matched and it was identical to the test he made himself when Kyungsoo went to Hawaii.
