Chapter 25

Jongin's wound was bleeding and his internal wounds are causing him to have internal bleeding too. The doctors advised him not to move after the blood transfusion. Kyungsoo's operation still not considered successful unless they can be sure that they have stopped the cancer cells to spread to his other tissues. They shared same room after Kyungsoo has been out from the operating room.
Kyungsoo's doctor said that its 50 percent successful. He has to admit that he feels helpless and looking at Kyungsoo being unconscious his heart broken. His dad now outside talking to other doctors who operated Kyungsoo. Baekhyun and Chanyeol arrived but are out to get them food. Taemin called to check him but he was in the emergency room.
The door opens and Sehun came in. Its the first time he can see him this long. Sehun came to his side.
"Yow fella. Does it hurt?" He said grabbing his seat.
"Are we close?" Jongin replied.
Sehun didnt mind him but just smiled.
"You have no choice but to consider me as a close friend. I take you here remember." Sehun said causing Jongin to smile.
"Thank you."
"Well, I saw Kyungsoo hyung and Chanyeol hyung so in love with each other but I never saw him looked at Chanyeol hyung the way he does to you." Sehun said casually. Jongin looked at Sehun and smiled.
"So, thank you for that." Jongin looked at the lean man. He was shocked to know that he was actually Chanyeol's half-brother. And what's actually more shocking was that this guy knew Luhan and was even following him here in Japan.

"Kyungsoo hyung is afraid in the dark and I am more worried about it than anything else that are happening right now." He replied looking at the man laid just across Jongin's bed.

"I wont leave his side even if the world will take us apart." Jongin replied. Sincerity overflowing.

Sehun looked at him smiling.

"Im going back to Korean tomorrow. I still have my classes." He said a while after.

"You liked Luhan right?" Jongin said.

Sehun laughed lightly and nodded.

"That's sad. He was taken already." Jongin has an idea that Luhan was dating Jessica and he is not even favoring it in any angle. Like Luhan was even a lot prettier than her.

"No. Jessica is not dating him anymore. They were just going out for the sake of you know, money." Sehun shrugged his shoulder.

"Very well informed sasaeng."

"I think you should rest now. If you don't want to leave Kyungsoo hyung, be healthy." Sehun stand up and left with a small smile.

The darkness seemed to be endless. The beat of his heart is panicking and all he can see is the endless dark and the fear in his heart is eating him up. He used to see the light and this endless darkness, he wanted to go out. He is scared. The air seemed not to be enough. He don't want to be here. He wanted to move but he cant find his strength to.

"Are you there?" He called out. No one is answering him. Is he alone now?

If these are all dreams, he wanted to wake up and go to work now. Jongin is waiting for him in the office, he has to arrange his table and make sure its neat before he arrives. He still need to look good to gain his sweet smile when he enters to his office. He still has to welcome his sweet kiss before he can even put his coat on his swivel chair. No he still has to see Jongin.

But no, he was his brother. No, he might left already. He might accepted it already like he do. Like he believed that he does.

"Nini." His small voice cracked as he raised his hand to find something to hold. He found his face covered with thick cloth. Yeah, the operation. He lost his eyes. And these are all real. "Nini." He called out again.

"Im here." He can hear his voice somewhat nearer. But he sounds weak.

"What happened to you? I cant see you." With that signal, he can hear him trying to move and he can feel him walking.

"Im here." He held his hand but what is strange is that he carrying himself something. IV?

"What happened to you stupid?" He asked.

Jongin looked at how flustered Kyungsoo looks. He might be struggling inside. He might be scared and wanted to see something but he is not seeing anything.

"Don't panick. They will take your bandage in few days when your wound is ready."

"Im asking why are you weak?"

"I got into something before coming here. Don't worry about me and recover immediately."

Jongin stayed at his side after Kyungsoo woke up. He even asked the nurse to have their bed side by side so that he can reach Kyugnsoo immediately.

Chanyeol came in with Baek and bring fruits for them. Lay is in Korea already because of urgent matter while Junmyeon is preparing for his flight in a few hours.

"He woke up a while ago." Jongin said to the Chanbaek couple as they arranged the fruits near Kyungsoo's table.

"Glad he did. What did he said?" Chanyeol asked

Jongin looked at the sleeping Kyungsoo and dearly touched his hand.
"He was scared. He was shaking."
Chanyeol's chest ached hearing how it was. Kyungsoo wanted to have his eyes treated but he lost them.
"I'll be staying here as long as he needs me." Baekhyun remarked. Chanyeol nodded as a sign of support to Baekhyun's idea.
"Just dont leave here too Jongin. He needs you the most." Chanyeol said.
Kyungsoo was sleeping all the time and Jongin is just staying awake looking at him. He looks fragile and he looks wasted. He hates to see that the person he loved the most is suffering this way.
His dad came when the Chanbaek couple was sleeping in the hotel they occupied just a minute away from the hospital.
"I think you should rest too Jongin so that you'll have enouhg strength before going back to Korea." The old man said.
"There's no way Im leaving Kyungsoo dad." Jongin tried to lower his voice which might wake Kyungsoo up.
"Then stop staring at him sexually Jongin for Godness' sake he is your brother."
"Just dont take him away dad."
Jongin thought that he won that conversation, he was wrong. Late that night when he received a message from Krytal that she is flying for Japan and get their marriage pushed through. He was wounded, just got from internal hemorrhage and now his dad opened this marriage again? Like what the hell.
No. He wont allow these to happen. He was bombarded with shit loads of problems and now this. No way. He has to stop this bullshit before Krystal arrives.
Taemin was the only way he can escape out.

"Tell dad, we are dating again." Jongin said to Taemin who just woke up from his sleep.
"What? Are you mad?" He can hear his voice with full of disbelief.
"Its either you do that or I'll die Taemin. If you tell Krystal or dad we are dating again, Krystal might not be able to have the guts to push our marraige this time."
"Jongin, theres no way I can do that but I can help."
"Taemin please."

One day has passed and there was no Krystal who arrives and contact Jongin. Taemin was not available also. Jongin feels nervous for not being able to understand what was Taemin was doing.
Until the medical team decided to bring Kyungsoo back to Korea for his recovery period. In Korea, as they are living all together in the chairman's mansion.
When they arrived in Korea, only one big news welcomed them. Krystal went missing for almost one week. Jongin doesnt know if he would feel thankful or scared. If this is the help that Taemin is telling him, Jongin atleast hoped that Taemin did not killed her.
