Chapter 17

Lay looked at the doctor and the lawyer explaining to Chairman in front of him talking about the DNA results of Kim Inho or Do Kyungsoo, he still can't believe his ears to hear this kind of revelation. Kyungsoo has been looking for his parents since he was a kid and now he found his real origin. What is more devastating is that he was not aware of Kyungsoo dating Jongin, the son of the Chairman. They are siblings. The chairman looked rotten holding the paper and Junmyeon holding his hand firmly. Luhan on the other hand just emotionlessly looking at them. The DNA test results stating that Kyugnsoo was the long lost son of the Chairman and Jongin's brother, Hyung.

Because of being busy, Lay sometimes forgot to check Kyungsoo and how his life is doing. Now, if Junmyeon didn't tell him about the recent turmoil of Kyungsoo's life, he wouldn't know anything. He witnessed him desperately undergoing test to find his parents and received too much disappointment after he is being denied. Now, that his parents found him, now that he has found his family, he must face the last pain, he has to accept the fact that the guy he loved is actually his dongsaeng.

What is more painful is how Kyungsoo tell his boyfriend Chanyeol about his relationship with Jongin? Things are complicated and he can see Junmyeon worried about his cousin a lot. How can they fix this?

"I think I should be off now." Luhan stands up and bowed to them.

"Thank you Luhan." The chairman barely speak sobbing.

"Jongin admitted Kyungsoo in the hospital to cure his eyes and I think nobody knows this except him and Kyungsoo and some few people. He did not even told me anything about it." Junmyeon said.

"I should tell them the truth sooner. I know this might hurt them both but we need to tell them before anything happens to them." The chairman remarked standing from his seat.

"What do you mean Samcheon?" Junmyeon followed the chairman.

"We need to break them up. Junmyeon, I can't allow my sons to dive in the mud, they have to know that they are siblings."

"Not now please." Lay suddenly stands up and hold the old man's arm.

"Why not? They are brothers and knowing them having a relationship, I think I'll start to be their father this time. I have to tell them!" The Chairman take Lay's hand off from his arm and walk out from the room leaving Junmyeon and Lay blank and just staring each other.

"We should do something to stop the Chairman." Lay said following the old man but Junmyeon stopped him.

"No. I think he is right." Junmyeon holds his boyfriend with a begging look.

"But-"

Junmyeon hugged Lay to stop him from going out. He knows he is worried about Kyungsoo's reaction.

But on the other hand, it's better to tell them now otherwise it would be hard for them to face it in the future.

Kyungsoo was left alone in his room, Jongin reported to his office for a while to settle immediate matter that Jongin is not telling him. He scan the whole room to ease the nervousness he starts to feel. Three doctors will arrive to check him in the next hour and he is not sure if how he is going to face the result of the primary examination. His room is quite equipped and he is sure that he can go out from this hospital pretty soon.

Sitting on his bed, looking at his IV, he sighed. He remembered Baekhyun, he missed him during this time that he is facing this kind of challenge. Baek used to take good care of him but now, he did not give him a call yet nor answer his calls. He must be very mad at him. Chan called him a while ago and promised to visit him after his office.

A single knock on his door disturbed him. The door opens. And Mr. Kim Won came in with Luhan following him.

"Sir, I need to go to my next round. Please be comfortable." Luhan just closed the door and leave the two of them alone.

Kyungsoo felt the sudden change of the atmosphere looking at the chairman walking towards him. His eyes look differently than before, different than the last time he told him to stay away from Jongin.

"I heard you're admitted. How are you?" He said gently as he sits himself on the couch near his bed.

"Yes. Thanks." Kyungsoo replied meekly.

"Don't worry I'm not here to nag you." The chairman took a deep breath and sit straight. "Actually, I am here to apologize for what I said the other time. I was rude."

Flustered by the sudden change of the Chairman, Kyungsoo gasp air silently.

"Its okay. I understand." He replied looking down.

Without replying him, the old man handed him the envelope he did not even noticed before.

"W-what is this all about sir?" His forehead wrinkled looking at the envelope.

"Kyungsoo, I would like to apologize for everything. Im so sorry."

The old man's repetitive apologies makes him even curios about what is inside the envelope.

"What is this?" Kyungsoo hesitantly asked the old man whose eyes now are starting to tear. "Is there anything wrong?"

"Read the papers Kyungsoo." The old man said trying to control the sudden congestion in his chest

Kyungsoo take out the paper to his hands but the door suddenly opens. Here comes in Jongin.

"Nini-"Startled Kyungsoo stands up and left the paper on the bed.

"I suddenly have the feeling of coming back." Jongin replied with his hands to the old man. "What are you doing here dad?" He asked the Oldman who is now sitting frozen by his sudden appearance.

"I showed Kyungsoo some papers but I think you need to talk first. I'll be back."

"Dad can we talk first?" Jongin gently grabs the old man's arm and guide him outside the door.

Kyungsoo felt that sudden change of the atmosphere in his room. He is confused how this all happens? Why the chairman is here apologizing him for being rude. Is he aware of his relationship with Nini? But what is that paper all about? He look at the paper. He saw the hospital's logo. And a word Paternity test? What is this paper exactly for?

He reached the paper and read this. Kim Inho and Kim Won? Who is Kim Inho? Kim Inho is the old man's long lost son. He found him already? And why would the chairman wanted him to see the result? The result shows positive matchings. Indeed the chairman has found his son. Jongin's Hyung. But when he found his name imprinted on the paper, his body began to immobilize.

"Dad, what are you doing here? What are you telling Kyungsoo?" Jongin asked his father without showing the nervousness on his chest.

"What are you doing Jongin? Is is true that you have a relationship with him?" Though the chairman sounds calm but deep inside he is angry and worried.

"Yes Dad, and I am willing to take all the responsibilities of dating him. Just support me this time." Jongin begs.

"No!" Chairman's voice cracked and sounded he is about to burst into tears. "I wont allow yourself to be burn in hell this way Jongin."

"Dad! No-"

"Listen to me Son, you have to break your relationship with Kyungsoo!"The Chairman said while catching his breath which failed to noticed.

"Dad, I love him. And I wont break up with him! I will marry him, have a family with him and plea-"

Before Jongin could finish his sentence, the old man collapsed in his arms.
