Jongin successfully closed the investment contract, thanks to Jongdae who saved him from burying his own company. He stayed at the office until one in the morning. He just stayed in the dark and look at the blank darkness of the entire office. This place used to be as brilliant as the morning sunshine way before when Kyungsoo is still with him. Now, this place is empty and he sad. His phone is playing with the music that Kyungsoo likes the most. Expectation. The song turned to be a sad carrier of the memories they shared in Hawaii. The best times they had together, and the times they both promised eternity. He stayed still in his chair and mindlessly tapping his fist on the table.
He decided to go home and left a note on Jongdae's table. "Take a break for a day." He wont be going to work tomorrow. He will resume looking for Kyungsoo. Until now nothing is reported regarding him. No positive response from all of his people. The whole wide streets of Seoul are getting lonelier and he as well. Driving home this late is never new to him, but today, it seems its really strange. He felt cold, nervous and somewhat sadder, well he is sad indeed.
The whole Kim Mansion was still dark and seems that the all of them are already sleeping except for the guards on the guard house. When he entered, the lights of the Chairman are on. He is home? He headed straight to it. When he opened it, the chairman was there, sitting on his chair facing his wife's old portrait. The old man didn't notice him, but he noticed something odd to his late mother's portrait. He is aware of the portrait but he didn't really look at it keenly or by details. Her eyes and lips look familiar.
"Dad?" He called him as he walked to his side.
"You're too late Jongin." He old man replied. His voice is not that weak anymore.
"You didn't tell me that you're going home today." He said sitting on the couch near him.
"I know you were busy." He replied turning to him.
Jongin wanted to ask him the first thing he have in his mind but, he too is tired and isn't it too early for him to talk about it?
"I know you're in great trouble right now, tell me." He said kindly. He must have waited for him until this late to talk about it.
"Dad-"
"I am going to admit it, I transferred Kyungsoo to somewhere I only know."
Jongin suddenly sit straight upon hearing what the chairman said.
"But, listen to me first before you ask me where is he now." The old man grabs a paper from his table and handed it to him. "Remember the Kim Inho you were looking for Jongin?"
"What about him dad?"
"He was my son Jongin. You know right? Your hyung? The one that I didn't want to talked about. The name that I don't want you to hear. I was hoping him to be alive, so I was setting aside a share of the company for him." The chairman slowly started to cry but he is trying to hold his tears back.
"Whats his connection with Kyungsoo Dad?" He felt impatient.
"Because he and Kyungsoo are just one Jongin. Im sorry."
He stayed still, frozen, blankly staring at the chairman, digesting the words he was telling him. Kyungsoo was his what? Hyung? This is beyond his imagination.
"Don't joke like this Dad, please." He stammer while he grab his bag and headed out.
"I don't joke like this Jongin, listen to me." The Chairman's voice rose.
"I know you don't favor him dad but don't tell me he is your lost son." He started to get angry. This is the lowest form of joke he ever heard. "Are you that desperate to separate us?"
