insecure

now I had two options. I could either stay in school and have more teacher asking me how I got hurt. or I could go home.

I went with option two.

I was almost running to my locker so I wouldn't knock into Aron in the way. I didn't luckily. instead I ran into someone else. Amanda, again.

-"hi, why are you running?" she asked while I was getting up from the floor. yes I fell because of her.

it took her a few seconds to see my face, and I guess it still looked pretty bad.

-"oh my go... what happened?? who did this to you??" she said with worry in her voice. she stood to her toes and started stroking my cheek slowly and gently.

-"umm, Aron did this. and before you say anything I just think you should stay away from me. I don't want you to get into trouble" I said to her.

she looked hurt, then she shook her head. she was still on her toes so she was able to hug me. tightly.

-"I like you, and I can handle Aron, and I won't stay away because you are my friend" she said close to my ear.

I saw several people starring at us. it wasn't normal for a popular girl like her to hug someone like me. a nerd. I didn't care though. I hugged her back and smiled. she made me happy.

after hugging for about a minute more she released me and looked at me. smiling. I guess I made her happy to.

-"what's your next class, I'll walk you there so Aron can't beat you up" she said and winked. then she started walking towards my locker with me close behind her.

-"I'm going home, I don't want teachers asking me about how I got hurt. he is already pretty mad at me if you couldn't tell" I said.

she stopped walking and turned to me again. she took my hand in hers and dragged me towards the exit.

-"just because I'm ditching doesn't mean that you have to. I don't want you to mess up your grades because of me" I said, but she just kept walking with her hand still locked with mine.

-"I want to ditch with you though. and it's not like I have any grades to mess up. I'm not really a good girl in school you could say"

-"okay fine but only this time. but I'm going home. do you want to come?"

she turned her head to me and nodded with a big smile on her lips. then she stopped walking and gestured for me to lead her to my house. I led her to the school parking lot and took out my car keys.

when we were at my car I opened the door to the passenger seat to her. she just starred at the seat and I didn't understand.

-"what, have you never been in a car before?" I asked her then started chuckling.

-"I have but, I haven't been in a car this...cheap before. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude but both my and Arons families are rich so....um yeah" she said and looked down. I saw her cheeks getting red.

I just laughed again and walked around to jump inside the drivers seat. she also got in and I saw how uncomfortable she was.

I guess we are really different, but opposites attracts right??
