Time passed, everyone went on with their lives as if nothing had happened. As soon as <Plumm> ceased to exist, both Thanatos and Rodie returned to their routines, at that very moment. However, something inside them had changed.

Thanatos no longer had any reason to listen to the Leaders, in fact, quite the opposite, he, who always had his own morals, decided to follow them without fear. He directly confronted the Leaders and killed them, each and every one of them. In this way, he took the position of "leader" and dissolved Élenkos, exposing all its manipulation and corruption. They attracted monsters to the cities, covered up and supported criminal factions, all so that the service offered by Élenkos would be necessary and so they could profit from it. Without this manipulation anymore, the lives of Humans could be much calmer and more peaceful.

However, all of Élenkos' agents and those Humans with manifested powers no longer had a place to go, even though it was a corrupt organization, it was undeniable that Élenkos helped many to have a home and an income.

That's where Rodie, who had decided to start using her powers and knowledge to become an important figure in society, comes in. All those who were left without a place to go after Élenkos' dissolution were supported by a movement she started. Rodie helped those Humans who had their powers manifested to understand and control their powers so that disasters would not happen. And the former Élenkos agents who wanted to help her would receive a great contribution.

As time went by and there was no longer a need for Humans to use their powers, little by little, the number of them who had manifested powers decreased. The vast majority had minimal powers, too weak to be useful or barely manifested at all.

Thanatos and Rodie never spoke to each other again. Of course, if they met, since they were both extremely important figures who contributed a lot to the current scenario of Humans, they would act with courtesy and respect, nothing more. And of course, neither of them ever mentioned <Plumm>, neither to each other nor to other people - as if they had forgotten about her (maybe they actually had). They didn't even tell those closest to them. In fact, during the rest of their lives, neither of them really created a strong bond with anyone. Neither of them had a family, just as they didn't create one, didn't get married and didn't have children. They had some friends, but they weren't best friends. It was as if they were incapable. Maybe, they had already given their hearts to someone else. Who knows who it could be.

From another perspective, Chizuro, Commander of Olympus, also might not remember who <Plumm> was, but she knew very well about the existence of the Goddess of Time. And that wouldn't leave her head:

"Yuki" - Her tone was full of bitterness, a bit of hidden anger - "did you finally decided to stop hiding?"

"No, why do you think so?"

"There's no point in involving innocent people in things you haven't resolved."

"That's works for you."

"This is about you. Anyway, I should thank you for basically giving me the perfect replacement for the Goddess of Time."

"What?" - There was a noticeable hesitation in her unchanging expression. Was it pain or anger?

"You heard me right. I even found it funny that you did that."

"You can't replace the Goddess of Time."

"Of course I can, like I did. She disappeared years ago, Yuki, she's dead."

"No. She's not."

"Is that so? Can you bring her to me, then?"

Yuki bit her lip and turned her face to the side, her expression full of bitterness:

"See? So she can replace her. You brought this upon yourself."

"Yeah.. I know" - She murmured - "it's my fault."

Not that any of this was of any use. Unfortunately, fate is immutable. After all, not even Yuki, the only Chronos, the strongest being in the universe, was able to change it.

AfterwordThe myth

Adonis is found by Aphrodite while he is still a baby, and she takes him to Persephone so she can take care of him. When he grows up, Aphrodite falls in love with him, but Persephone, also in love with Adonis, does not want to leave him. So, an agreement is made and he visits Persephone for half of the year and Aphrodite for the other half of the year, although most of the time he does not visit Persephone, preferring to stay with Aphrodite. One day, Adonis is attacked by a wild boar and dies in Aphrodite's arms. This is also how the Anemone flower appears, which grows where Aphrodite's tears fall.
