PLOT:

***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off—in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date—er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she was young and a little rough around the edges but there was something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet—she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett. REVIEW:

HOW COULD I NOT HAVE REVIEWED THIS?! How long has it been since I have finish reading this? Imagine my surprise fixing and editing stuff from this Review Book to only realize this isn't in the list. I have used some of the lines in the Story for my everyday life and it is not yet reviewed? Unbelievable. I could only blame myself.

I could best describe this as the Book full of cheesy lines. Book of Hugot. I was caught offguard by the Story. I didn't know it would be soooo much fun reading it. It was more than I have expected and when I thought I had enough, I get my phone and read it again and do it again tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next week, next month. The lines will get you. If you are a hopeless romantic and a girl (or anyone with just a really romantic heart. I am no sexist.) this will melt you. The funny thing is, it's not the characters that will melt you, but the Story itself. It will pull you, caress you, and whisper sweet nothings to you and you find yourself falling. It is a charmer. If this is a guy, I can see myself falling dangerously in love, and it is saying something. And it never goes down. Whenever you thought you have enough of the cheesiness, it will push back up and it never dies down. It never does. No boring moments. No dull moments. No feeling of wanting to put down your phone and stop reading. No. None. Nada. And it is just amazing.

The characters are full of life. Like I said, I have never expected it. Charlotte is a girl I want to meet and talk to. I feel like everyone, anyone can relate to her and she can relate to. I cried for her. For the girl who lived uncomfortably, for the girl who lived thinking she isn't enough. 'Cause who is in their sane mind wouldn't feel that if their Mom didn't walked out on you and a drunk Dad? It isn't even pity. What I felt for Charlotte is not pity. It is more like admiration, because after all that. I don't know if I could be as strong as her and it made me want to fight. Reading her Story made me want to fight. I could say the same for Brandon. He is right. Because even if it's crazy, if you want it you want it. No matter how crazy and absurd the idea and the consequence will be, you want it. They both wanted it.
