PLOT:
Maude Laurent is a spirited 16 year-old orphan who grew up in a small, provincial town in the North of France with a passion for piano and a beautiful voice.
One day in Paris, she is discovered by an American music producer who takes her to New York to live with him and his close-knit family while producing her first album, with help from teen heartthrob, Matt. Maude will dive into a new fascinating world discovering New York City, music, family, love and the truth about her past.

OPINION:
Disappointed. Really disappointed. The title reminded me of "Anna and The French Kiss" and that Story is love. I am in love with Etienne St. Clair and Anna is one of my favourite characters, really. But! BUT! BUT... I'm not saying the Stories are the same cause they are not, not in many ways. I was just a real lot disappointed with how the Story came out. It is beautufully written. The parts about Music, Opera and the simplicity and all is my favourite. An awesoom Story to begin with but... the contents I was just not that happy. I can't describe the characters. They're just black, like shadows in my mind. I don't even know how to pronounce the main girls name. XD Is it Maude (like Mod)? Do you proounce it like that? This could have been better if there were more interactions with Matt and Maude. And a more controversial way to mess it up with the help of Thomas and Lindsey. I actually have a lot of questions... I didn't even understand the Story THAT much. Yes, I get the simple and the most vulgar facts in the story but some deeper once... I don't know. Not at all. Blank. I actually have a lot of issues. It can be fix. Add a little more. Maybe a romantic scene of Matt and Maude? An actual scene where they actually perform together, in a more professional stage? A bitch fight between Maude and Lindsey? An actual battle where who is better in stage? The day Alan has finally been kicked out from Soulville Records? Or a humiliation scene in Thomas and Lindsey's part? You know, some stories where you can make it fun and it just not revolve in one part. I think it circled in Maude's want to escape her foster parents and to make her dreams come true. Is she half-Nigerian or stuff? Is she white? Ha? Okay. I love it but I don't get the story at all. And I am not saying I am a better writer than her. Because I do admire how this is written but I just don't get it.

8 out of 10 (Basically 8 is the lowest score I give. I would give it a lower but I just can't do that to a Stroy that is wisely written.)
