STORY LINE:

College is just like her old life . . . bleak. Surviving it won't be easy, especially when the girlfriend of the guy she's loved her entire life would rather see her dead. So much for that clean slate. Instead she's constantly looking over her shoulder, watching, waiting and worrying. Lucky for Emma she met The Senator's Son. Zach Walker is the typical rich kid . . . or is he? He's all heart, not like all those other guys. She isn't supposed to fall for him. She doesn't even know if she can trust him. He is completely tempting and totally out of her league. Please note - there is profanity and sexual situations. All rights reserved. OPINION:

Well... this is that type of Book that you know will be clean. Will be nice to read. Will probably leave a mark BUT not that impacting. Yes, it is very well written but it kind of missed the impacting part where you would really feel the characters. Don't get me wrong I LOVE IT. It is worth a place on Book Stands but Idk... there is just something missing. Maybe... another Sequel. Yes, there is a second part and we will talk about it on another paragraph but... sigh it just either missed or short on something. But that is the only negative impact I will provide. Character wise, no judgment. The portrayal of the characters are true. Typical Story? YES. but, it is not cliche. AT ALL. I SWEAR. Worth reading? Damn yes. Worth your time? OF COURSE. PLEASE.

The Sequel, I think which is The Dealer's Daughter is a real good one as well. It tackled a different part and area of things. It is a bit weirder and out of the typical side than the first one but I prefer the first one just because I can relate to it. As a University student. As a girl. As a girl in love. You would feel the first part of the Series(?). But this is not any lesser than the first one. It is still the same writing style. Just like I said, a little weirder and a lot wilder than the first one which is a breathe of fresh air.

The Story altogether doesn't revolve the main lead. It revolves everyone that is involve. It somewhat reminded me of Fallen Crest Series but that Series is too damn good and damn just everything. I love it. I love this. I love the writer. I just... UGH.

If you like a little bit steamy story then I suggest read The Dealer's Daughter.

If you want the typical story but non-cliche as I swear then read The Senator's Son.

Can you read them without reading the other? YES. As long as you can understand it even if you did not read the first one, it's okay.

RATING:

9 out 10. I'm sorry. I feel like I'm cheating if a gave it any higher.

Individually. I'd rate:

The Senator's Son: 9.2 out of 10.

The Dealer's Daughter: 9 out of 10.

I want to give The Dealer's Daughter a 8.9 just because.... but the Author does not deserve anything lesser than 9.
