Story # 35: The Chase Begins

PLOT:

They met on a vacation in Hawaii. She was there to try and heal her broken heart while he was trying to escape his fame. For four days they played the happy tourist couple. Only on her last night there did she succumb to his charms.

Brianna Morgan was known best in her town for dumping the towns most eligible bachelor when she found him cheating on her. Now she was stuck in the middle of planning her crazy best friends wedding. Two weeks before the wedding her reluctance to be involved became a stern no when she first spied the best man.

Chase Montgomery was so over being the most talked about man for his action movies. If he never made another movie again he would be happy. He needed something real. Something like the four days with that beautiful woman in Hawaii. The first woman to ever say no to him and the steamiest night of his life. She was gone in the morning and he never saw her again.

Idle thoughts of her became no more when he realised she was the Maid of Honour at his best mates wedding. Now all he had to do was convince her that their time spent vacationing together was enough to prove they were destined to be together.

OPINION:

I was a little bit confused at first. I was caught off guard about how it started. I have added this Story waaaaaaay back so I read with a blind eye because, I don't really remember every Story I add at my Library. So I slowly have to grasped every word written just to not make myself more confused even more. I think this will be likely to be not the typical. I could never really imagine this happening to anyone at all. I also found myself trying to guess which country this is because some ways, they might sound Americans and maybe a little bit Italian and then British. It makes me laugh sometimes. The Story is quite... Idk, too fast? Like, after finishing this Chapter and I start on the next but it felt like a jumped atleast 3 or 5 more Chapters. Really confusing soooo many times. It took me no more than 3 days for this. I actually am in the middle of my Midterm Examination and ended up not studying at all. I was sooo bummed but I could never blame the Story I'm reading. I'm actually itching to read. I don't actually want to start reading this because this is (I think) the last finished Story I have on my Library. It'll take me weeks more to update (maybe). But anyways, I classify this Story as Humor because I found it really funny quite a lot of times. The Author's timing of writing or placing the curses or just beyond me. I'm actually really fond of cursing so it feels natural for me. But this one, seriously, I laughed everytime I feel like she misplaced the curses. Somtimes it even feels like the reason why she added the curses is just so she can't put, "Don't swear!" line a load lots of times. It got me laughing thou. That is what is really funny for me. I hope you don't find it weird that I even notice the smallest stuffs like the placing or curses if they could just be omitted. Well... anywho, characters. I have nothing against anyone but since the Author is implying her characters ages are close to "30" then maybe they should act like it? It doesn't feel like close to 25 at all. Maybe Bree could be 23? And Chase 25 or 26? Mostly like that. The Author is describing them as such but I don't find their characters more than those. Idk how foreign people act at those ages because here, in my Country people at 30 already have kids and a Family they could call their own and our Culture is different. So this is basically my waaaay of looking and definite imagination. Overall, I guess this is quite okay. A B+ (if there is such thing). I would still recommend this to anyone who liked it less dramatic and more fun. Cause I don't like Stories too freaking sad, it kinds of makes my day all gloomy as well.

8.7 out 10 (This is still high to me but I have to give it a two thumbs up still even though the writing style is quite confusing for my part.)

There will be another one Idk why I decided to do this first but... maybe next week again? It depends if I could find another Story to start before I posted the other.
