These robots according to my thermal have an immense amount of strong metal on them. Screeches of agony come from people outside, the robots are killing people. My thermal vision senses robots coming to the door, I desperately limp to Ella and the others.
"Hide, all of you!" I gasp. Everyone goes upstairs and we hide in Derek's room, which is visible from the stair balcony, we can also see what goes on downstairs. The door blasts open, Shayna gasps in fear at the sound of the door hitting the wall. The sound of mechanic movement fills the house along with the eerie silence and the screaming outside which by now has strangely stopped. Had these things killed everyone out there? A human comes into the house after the robots, one side of his face in covered by a purple mask. Wait a second, it's the child murderer! He controls the robots, he inspects Kiera's dead body.
"Get up" He says grimly.
Kiera soon gets up, she was dead, how can she do that?
"They ripped out my powers!" Kiera growls.
"Who?" The Mask Guy says.
"There are half- kinectics in this house!" Kiera growls.
"Half- kinectics, the key to our species' survival?" The Mask Guy says excitedly.
"Yeah, I guess" Kiera says.
What are kinectics? Are Ella and I half- kinectics? What the hell is going on?
I listen more to their conversation,
"These offsprings are powerful, right?" The Mask Guy.
"Yes" Kiera says, "Why do you think my neck is bleeding?".
"Well done exposing them for me, our people will be pleased" The Mask Guy says.
"Whatever" Kiera walks out of the house. The Mask Guy gestures to the two robots,
"Search this house and find them" The robots take out their guns and start searching for us.
"Frank!" A voice whispers behind me. Derek is in the frame of the window.
"Come on!" Derek says. Ella, Smoky and Shayna are already out of the window and down at the floor level.
So, the world is under attack, we have robots searching for us, we have powers, our powers are the key to an alien species' survival. Ok, I'm so not going crazy, or am I?
