I put my phone down. They were so dumb.
"Dad we're having company!!!"
"Who's comin' over?" He asked.
"The usual."
"So, you're having company," he stated, noticing that I had said that "we're having company" rather than just me.
"Basically," I chuckled.
"Well I won't bug you too much," he winked.
"They're coming over for you! Hang around all you want," I smiled.
He looked down and shook his head, chuckling. He left the room.
"Hey!" Shelby yelled eagerly as she walked in. She wore a beautiful white flowery shirt that was tight at the top and flowed out at the bottom. Light high waisted jeans covered her legs. The jeans ended right above her ankles. Her white high top converse covered the remaining part of her legs and her feet. Her long auburn hair was curled and her make-up was simple in a lovely way. Shelby was beautiful.
"Hey, loser," I said, looking up at her.
"What's the news?" She asked curiously. I looked around the room in a sarcastic way.
"Dude, you're the first one here," I said.
"Your point?" Travis walked in before I got the chance to answer.
"Sorry I couldn't find my phone. Shelby wouldn't wait," he said grumpily.
"Get over it," She said, texting.
"No. I will not get over it." His voice got gradually louder. He ran up to her as he said those words and swooped her up, tilting her to the ground head first.
"AHH! Travis stop!" She squealed through her laughter. I heard the glass sliding back door open. I turned around. No one was there. Travis continued to mess with Shelby. I started laughing.
