The sun dipped low, staining the Rajawat garden in warm amber. Bougainvillea petals fluttered in the soft evening breeze as laughter drifted through the air. The college group had gathered under the Bougainvillea tree- steaming cups of tea on the table, the fragrance of roses wrapping around them.
Ishqi sat cross-legged on the swing, twirling her phone lazily. Disha, Misha, Sid, and Rey surrounded her, all mid-laughter about the day's chaos. Shree sat quietly at the corner of the bench, her notebook open but untouched.
It should have been a simple evening - carefree, light. But who knows maybe a drama is waiting...
Ishqi was casually scrolling through Instagram when she saw the post of shree and her partner dancing.. instantly something clicked her mind and she looked towards mansion balcony where Rajveer and Ishan was sitting there discussing some business.. she gave a small evil smirk and mumbled " Bhaiya se to Bhabi laya nahi jayega.. mujhe hi kuch karna hoga "
( Brother is unable to bring sister-in-law for me .. I think to I need to take matters in my hands )
"Guys listen listen..!" Ishqi said dramatically, waving her hand. "You all don't even know what happened during practice today."
Sid leaned forward instantly. "Oho, Teaaaaa! Spill it fast!"
"Aur sab bolte hai ladko ko gossip me interest nahi hota " Misha said sarcastically shaking her head...
" Tu chup reh ... Aur sunne de " Ray said and looked at Ishqi with full concentration.
But Ishqi only smirked. " You know what... Shree and Arav ki chemistry dekh ke Riya mam and Tripti mam discuss kar rahe the ki in dono ko aur ek dance ke liye bolenge .. "
( You know what .. after watching Shree and Arav's chemistry Riya mam and Tripti mam were discussing to give them another dance )
" Oohhooo " " Then then .. " Disha hooted and shaked Misha in excitement...
" Tum log to thee nahi pure dance ke time.. mai thi to pata hai maine kya dekha... Shree spin ke time ek bar disbalanced ho gayi thi but guess what ..... Arav ne usko spin karte time hi uta liya and fir shida khada kar diya... Matlab samaj Rahi hai na hawa me hi utha liya aise... (She put her hand on Misha's waist ) Aise waist ko grab karke )
( You guys were not there during the whole dance but I was there... Do you know what I saw ? Shree was about to fall while a spin but Arav... God he spinned her during her spin in air and then made her stand straight... Could you understand... He literally spinned her in air .. by grabbing her waist )
Her tone was playful, but her eyes flickered mischievously toward the mansion balcony - where two figures could be seen through the French windows Rajveer and Ishan, sitting across each other, discussing business files.
" Damnnn " Ray said in excited voice and showed Shree thumbs up 👍🏻
Ishqi's lips curved. "They can surely hear us from there," she mumbled.
" Guys guys i just remembered a thing" Misha said in excitement
"So as we all know Ishqi and Raghav bhaiya started the practice with Tum Mile. Romantic number, slow build-up ."
