30. The Basement

As Rajveer entered his room, he ordered Aman to follow him. With a subtle press of a button, the wall on the right side slid open, revealing a staircase that descended into the depths of their basement. Rajveer's room, nestled on the right side of the haveli, concealed a secret known only to Rajveer and Aman, a basement directly connected to Rajveer's room

As they made their way down the stairs, the air grew thick with an eerie silence. The basement was a vast, cavernous space that seemed to swallow the light whole. Rajveer flipped a switch, and the room erupted in a blaze of light, illuminating a scene that was both terrifying and mesmerizing.

The room was a twisted playground, designed to inspire fear and dread. Two small rooms with glass doors stood like sentinels, each containing a nightmare scenario. One room was a veritable hellhole, filled with dirt, insects, and venomous snakes. The other was a frozen tomb, its bed a massive ice cube that seemed to glow with an otherworldly light. The room was chilled to a temperature of below -10°C, and the cold vapors that wafted through the air only added to the sense of unease.

Rajveer strode confidently to a table, where he sat down in a king-sized chair, surveying his domain with an air of quiet confidence. Aman, meanwhile, was busy on the phone, his voice low and urgent as he spoke to someone on the other end of the line.

"Hello Boss," a strong, strict voice replied, the sound echoing through the room.

"Tumhare liye ek kam hai Veer and wo kam mujhe 15 min ke andar ho jana cahiye" Rajveer replied.

( "I have a job for you, Veer, and it needs to be done within the next 15 minutes.")

"Ji Boss bas order kijiye" Vansh replied from the other side.

("Yes, Boss, just give the order." )

"Mai tumhe ek ladki ki photo bhej raha hu aur use koi kidnap karke le gaya hai, wo admi bar bar apna location badal raha hai so us admi ko ab tum dhundoge and ye bhi pata karke dige ki uska next hiding spot kya hoga"   Rajveer ordered.

( "I'm sending you a photo of a girl. She's been kidnapped, and the man who took her is constantly changing his location. I want you to find him, and I want you to find out where he's hiding next." )

"Okey Boss kam ho jayega"  Vansh replied, and Rajveer ended the call.

( "Okay, Boss, the job will be done." )

Rajveer's eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire as he spoke to himself, his voice dripping with venom.

"Mr.. Tum jo bhi ho Rajveer Rajawat ko sirf Rajasthan ka Hukum Sa samaj ke and uske power ko underestimate karke tumne duniya ki sabse badi bhool ki hai.... Tumne meri Ishqi ko kidnap kiya hai...jiske upar mujhe kisi ki Nazar bardast nahi hoti tune use choone ki himmat ki hai , ab to tujhe upar wala bhi mere hat se bacha nahi payega..."

( "You may not know who I am, but you will soon learn. I am Rajveer Rajawat, the ruler of Rajasthan, and you have made a grave mistake by kidnapping my Ishqi. You have touched something that is mine, and now you will pay the price. You may have the power of the underworld at your command, but I have the power of the gods on my side. And I will not rest until I have found you, and until I have made you pay for what you have done." )

As Rajveer spoke, his face twisted into a snarl, his eyes blazing with a fierce inner light. For a moment, he seemed to embody the very essence of evil, his presence seeming to fill the room with an unspeakable horror. And then, in an instant, his face smoothed out, his eyes glinting with a cold, calculating light.

Rajveer sat motionless in his chair, his eyes closed, as if lost in thought. Aman's voice cut through the silence, "Boss." Rajveer's eyes snapped open, and he gazed at Aman with an unreadable expression. Aman handed him a diamond bracelet, its sparkle catching the light.

As soon as Rajveer's fingers closed around the bracelet, he recognized it as Ishqi's. His eyes widened, and for a moment, his mask slipped, revealing a glimmer of emotion.

"Kahan mile ye tumhe?" Rajveer asked, his voice devoid of emotion.

( "Where did you find this?" )

Aman replied, "Usi jagah pe sir Jan se mam kidnap hui thi."

( "At the same place where Ishqi mam was kidnapped, sir." )

Rajveer's hands cradled the bracelet, and he touched it to his forehead, closing his eyes. For a moment, he seemed to be transported to a different world, one where Ishqi was by his side.

"Kahan ho tum Ishqi, Kaisi ho tum... Tumhe pata bhi nahi hai ki tumhare bina ek ek second katna mere liye kitna muskil ho raha hai, please jaldi mere pas ajao please," Rajveer whispered, his voice barely audible.

( "Where are you, Ishqi? How are you? You don't even know how hard it is for me to spend even a second without you. Please come back to me soon, please." )

A single tear escaped Rajveer's eye, and for a moment, his composure cracked. This was the first time he had shown vulnerability, the first time he had allowed his emotions to surface.

Aman's voice broke the spell,
"Sir, 15 minutes are up."
Rajveer's eyes snapped open, and he rose from his chair, his face a mask of fury and fear. His phone rang, and he answered, his voice low and menacing.

Veer's voice came from the other end, "Boss, those people are heading to a bungalow near Lake Pichola in Udaipur. That's where the kidnapper is hiding."

Rajveer's response was immediate, "Aman, chalo, and find out where Lake Pichola is. Get my jet ready, we're leaving for Udaipur now."

( "Aman, let's go, and find out where Lake Pichola is. Get my jet ready, we're leaving for Udaipur now." )

As Rajveer strode towards the door, his long steps eating up the distance, his face set in a determined mask, it was clear that he would stop at nothing to rescue Ishqi.

What will Rajveer do now ?
