Shree along with Ishqi, Daksh and Disha  drove out of the Rajawat mansion gates, her fingers tapping lightly on the steering wheel as the early morning sun filtered through the windshield. The faint smile on her lips stayed. A quiet kind of strength had settled inside her.

The college campus buzzed with leftover fest energy. Groups of students still discussed performances, laughing, teasing, replaying moments as if the night hadn’t ended. As Shree stepped out of her car, a few heads turned instantly.

Are dekh ye sab Bhabi aur Shree ko aise dekh rahe hai jaise koi celebrity aa rahi ho " Daksh said to Disha and she nodded in agreement.

[ Look everyone is looking at Sister-in-law and Shree as if they are some celebrity ]

Shreeee!” Misha spotted her first and almost ran toward her, grabbing her arm dramatically. “Madam! Aaj toh aap star ban chuki hain!”

Ray joined instantly. “Aur wo Aarav… uff chemistry!”

[ And that Arav... what a chemistry! ]

Shree chuckled softly. “Bas karo tum log.”

[ Eneough guys ]

Disha leaned against the desk, smirking. “Bas karo? Kal wo kya tha"

[ Enough? Was was that yesterday huhh ]

Dance tha,” Shree replied simply.

Just dance.

Nothing more.

Before anyone could push further, Ishqi entered , Misha jumped in again, unable to sit quietly for more than two seconds.

"Guys listen, should we join this years inter college competition ? Ishqi and Shree can easily win the dance competition. But we need practice. And we will see what we can do..

Main nahi aa rahi extra practice ke liye,” Disha said lazily.

[ I am not coming for extra practice ]

Of course,” Sid muttered. “Madam sirf khane ke liye aayengi.”

[ Of fourse, she will come just to eat ]

Bilkul,” she grinned.

Laughter filled the space.

And for a while, everything felt… normal.

But not for long.

Aarav entered.

His eyes searched the room instinctively — and landed on Shree.

A soft smile spread across his face as he walked toward her. “Hey.”

Hey,” she replied, polite.

Kal…” he started, hesitating slightly. “You left before we could talk.”

I said I’ll talk later,” she replied calmly.

Can we talk now?

Shree tilted her head slightly, studying him.

Then nodded. “After class.

Simple. Controlled. Not warm. Not cold.

Aarav noticed, uncertainty flickered in his eyes.

Across the room, Ishqi watched everything quietly.
