Chapter Ten
A loud bang sounded on my door. I stood off of my bed and walked over to the door. I opened it up to see the blonde haired Deidara in my door way.
“We are checking out of the hotel.” He says.
“Okay.”I reply, walking back into my room, grabbing the key and handing it to him. It felt a bit awkward being around him now. I now knew I liked him. I couldn’t deny it even though he made me mad so easily.
I followed him down towards the clerk desk as he handed the girl the keys, and she began to check him out. I felt myself getting angry about it and say, “Don’t you have work to do?”
“Uhm, yeah.” She says, blushing. I turned my self away and began to walk out of the hotel.
When I got outside I heard Deidara walking up behind me asking, “What was that all about, un?”
“Didn’t you see her checking you out?” I ask, looking over at him.
“I wasn’t really paying attention.” He says. “Didn’t know that would make you so jealous un.” He says, smirking at me.
“I’m not jealous.” I say, denying the truth.
“It doesn’t even matter anyway. I have my eyes focused on someone anyways.” He says.
I blinked my eyes at him, trying to think of who it could possibly be, but decided it didn’t matter anyways. I knew he didn’t like me. He didn’t even kiss me last night. Plus I tried to kill him twice now.
“Whatever.” I mumble as I continue to walk. I felt hungry so I decided I would stop at a shop to get something to eat. Deidara was walking behind me, but I just ignored it. He was probably just keeping an eye on me anyways.
I walked in and sat down, sighing and closing my eyes. I didn’t know what either of us would do today. I’m sure we would head back to the library so Deidara could do more research though.
Deidara sat down acrossed from me and asks, “Are you alright Nina? Something seems to be bothering you.”
“I’m fine.” I mutter.
“If you say so, un.” He replies.
The waitress walked up to me and says, “What can I get the lovely couple?”
I slammed my head down on the table, not realizing I was making such a scene. Why does EVERYONE have to assume things?!
“We will take the special.” Deidara says.
“I will be right back with that.” She says, turning and walking away.
“Right, nothing is bothering you.” Deidara whispers to me while chuckling.
