Chapter Six
We were at the gates to enter a town in the Land of Fire.
"Who are you?" The gatemen asks. I stood there watching Sasori and Deidara to see what they would do, just when the guys face blew up. I began to scream but my mouth was quickly covered by Deidara's hand.
"Don't scream, un."
"It's just his jutsu." Sasori says.
I reach up and put my hand over Deidara's hand and try to pull his hand off. I hear him snicker and say, "You don't like my art?"
I began tugging trying to get his hand off my mouth but it wasn't working. If his hand licks me I'm going to kill him!
"Deidara, remove your hand."
He pulled his hand away and I stepped away from him, turned and glared over at him. "You jack ass!" I yell.
"Hey, you liked it." He says jokingly.
"You only wish!" I yell.
"Okay, let's be civil here you two. Let's go in."
"Fine." I say while glaring at Deidara. He walked up to me and began to push me past the gate.
"I don't need you pushing me." I say.
"Sure you do, un." He says.
"I'll kill you." I say.
"I'd like to see you try." He whispers in my ear.
My face flushed hot and an imagine popped into my head but I quickly shook it away. "Get off of me." I say.
I felt his arms wrap around my waste and he says, "Aw, you don't like me being so close?"
"No I don't." I say.
"Deidara get off of her." Sasori says.
I felt his arms release themselves from me. He pushed me forward again and instead of letting him push me I ran up next to Sasori and ignored Deidara.
I began to walk through the village and Sasori says, "Deidara keep an eye out for anyone suspicious."
"Got it." He says.
"Uhm..." I say.
"Just stay out of the way." He says.
I got an angry look across my face, but then again I had no reason to be mad since he shouldn't know how well of a ninja I was.
"And you better not take off running, we might need you. People are going to attack us once they realize who we are."
"Alright." I say. I turned to look back and see Deidara's hands in his sides and pulling them away with his hands closed.
Working on his detonating clay.
We continued walking when a loud grumbling noise was made. "Damn..." I muttered in embarrassment.
"Hungry I suppose, un." Deidara says.
"Yeah." I say. "Don't worry I'll be fine." I add in.
"Okay." He replies and we continue walking forward.
"So where exactly are we going?"
"To the library. There should be a hidden passageway to where certain scrolls should be." Sasori says.
"I see." I say. "And if they aren't there?"
"Then they aren't there." He says.
Wow.
