Chapter 12
“Let me out!!!” I hollered in a pitch black room. “You have no right to keep me held captive. I am not a prisoner. Let me out!!! LET ME OUT!!!” I screamed, trying to kick at nothing to get out.
I tried to stand but found it impossible to do so while my hands were tied behind my back and I was stuck sitting somewhere that I had no idea was around me.
The moment we had reached the base, Deidara had covered my eyes up. Why hadn’t I escaped when I had the chance?! I’m such an idiot.
Tears tried to push there way out of my eyes, but I just ignored them and the pinging pain in my gut. I couldn’t cry. Not now, not ever. Only those who are weak cry. That’s what I had learned from Orochimaru.
I heard something creak. “Who’s there?” I ask coldly.
“Nina, it’s Deidara.” A voice says.
“Deidara?” I ask, practically growling his name.
“I’m sorry, un.” He mumbles.
“You are ‘sorry?’” I ask, spitting out the words out as if they were poisonous.
“You don’t understand.” He says quietly.
“Don’t even try.” I say coolly. “I don’t care to hear anything other than these ropes being removed from my arms and feet and being able to see.” I say.
I heard a shifting noise, and soon found two warm arms around me and hot breath on my face.
“Wha… what are you doing?” I ask, trying to focus on my anger even though it was slowly disappearing.
“Nina, I hate you.” Deidara whispers seductively into my ear.
“What the hell?!” I yell.
“I hate you because….” He says trailing off as he pushed his lips softly against mine. When he pulled away he says, “I will help you escape.”
If I didn’t have something covering my face I probably would have had my eyes wide open with shock. I never would have guessed that Deidara would have let me go. Wouldn’t he get into trouble for that?
I nodded my head. He grabbed onto my arm and helped me stand up, his hand under my elbow. “I need you to be completely silent. Sasori is the only other person here other than me, and he is asleep so we should be able to get out of here easily.
“We?” I ask.
“I will escort you to a spot then let you go.” He says. “I will also explain everything to you.”
“You are going to explain everything?” I ask, still confused.
“Like why you are a prisoner of ours. Why we wouldn’t let you use your chakra. Why you had a seal on you.”
“I see.” I say, taking in a deep breath to calm myself. I didn’t know if I should trust him or not. I thought I could, but I also tried to kill him twice before. I felt him take a step foreword and he pulled me behind him.
“The silence begins now.” He says.
I nodded my head to show my understanding of what he just said. I could feel myself being dragged by Deidara. I didn’t know where he was taking me. What if he was taking me to be killed right now?
I felt wind blow my hair back after a few minutes of silence.
“We are outside now, un.” Deidara says.
“Okay.” I say.
“I will walk you to a spot where no one should find you and let you go. It’s your doing to stay free from then on. I did not let you go, understand?”
