"Now we start training," Luke said with a smirk.
He gets into a stance that looks both offensive and defensive.
Before I relized it, Luke slammed his fist into my shoulder.
I staggered back and almost fell back.
I could hear everyone gasp. Was he supposed to go easy on me? Was this his easy?
I tried to kick him in the groan, but he caught my foot.
Luke twisted my right foot, the one he shot.
I screamed in pain. Allowing the rest of my body to follow.
I landed on my stomach.
All of the air in my lungs is knocked out of me.
Surprisingly, Luke doesn't take this as a chance to hurt me even more.
Luke asks, "Sasha are you alright?"
"My foot got shot at a while back. It was healed, but I don't think it's supposed to be bent the way it is," I say as I turn onto my back and prop myself up on my elbos.
"Oh my god," I heard someone from the crowd say.
"Is she okay?" asked another.
My right foot was turned to the left, but my leg was straight up. I almost gagged.
All I could feel was the pain in my foot, but it felt as if my foot was completely numb.
"We need a medic," someone from the crowd yelled.
Once again black spots covered parts my vision.
I could see Luke was worried, but why? He did this to me. It's not like he cared for me.
Someone lifts me up and carries me away from the training area. I don't know who it was.
Whenever they set me down onto a bed, the guy immediately took my shoe off.
It was bleeding. I was crying.
"Just make it stop," I groan at the boy.
"This might hurt," he said right before he injected a shot into a vein in my rist.
It didn't hurt at all. It felt amazing. The medicine already pumping through my blood. I drift away into sleep as the guy works on my foot.

Luke has me pinned down against the mat.
He's saying something, but I'm not sure what.
Out of nowhere he pulls out a gun and points it at my head.
I hear myself scream.
Bang.
Darkness.

I wake up gasping, and I'm drenched in my own sweat.
My hand immediately reached for my forehead. No bullet wound.
It was just a dream.
The same guy that was working on my foot before I fell asleep was sitting in a chair that was facing away from my bed, but he was turned around.
"Good morning sleeping beauty," he said sarcastically.
"How long was I asleep?" I ask.
"Just a few hours," he replied, "I'm Jackson."
"Oh, well I'm Sasha," I said.
We both looked at my foot. It was covered up in a hard, white cast.
"How long untill it will heal comepletely?" I ask.
"About six to eight weeks," Jackson answered.
"What am I going to do for that long?" I ask.
He starts, "Well, besides combat we do have a computer lab. You will probably work there with me."
"Wait, you work there? Also how will I get there?" I ask.
"Yes. People don't get hurt as often as you think," Jackson says, "And by using these." He hands me a pair of crutches.
"Okay," I say.
I start trying to walk with the crutches. Once I get the hang of them, I say, "Lead me to the computer lab."
"Follow me," Jackson replies.
"Okay," I say.
We walk out of the room and out into the hall.
I follow him as he walks to the left of the room.
We pass up the room that has the big mat in the middle. No one was in it now.
Jackson goes into the next door on the left, and I follow as fast as I can.
"This is the computer lab," he says.
He walked towards the back to an empty row of computers. I slowly followed. "And this is your laptop." He opens a laptop for me to use. He pulls out the chair in front of my laptop.
"Thanks," I say. I sit down and lean my crutches against the wall.
He gives me my username and password.
I log on and ask, "So what will I be doing exactly?"
"Well you will be watching surveillance footage of a village," Jackson explains.
"Okay. What am I looking for?" I ask.
He answers, "You know how there are a couple villages spread out. Well this one is special. It has an army camp that is fighting against us. So you will be monitoring them to see if they are planning anything."
"Okay," I say, "I'll come and tell you if I find something."
Jackson walks off and back to his laptop in the front.
There were ten different cameras. I decide to start back yesterday around
3:00 pm.
I checked the first three, and it was just people walking around from place to place within their village. Then the rest of them was at a different place. It was the very small setup that I was taken from last night. I am positive. I see Danny, all of my friends, and I walking towards my house after school.
At first I don't know whether to be sad or mad.
But Luke, my ex best guy friend, did this to me. Took me away from them: my family, my friends, and my boyfriend.
Suddenly I was up walking with my crutches out of the room.
Jackson comes after me, stops me, and asks where I'm going.
I keep on going, maneuvering around him.
I pass the room with the mat, my room, and all of the doors along the hallway.
I'm back in the large entrance room. I go down the hall that Luke went into earlier today before training.
I am almost towards the first door when it flies open.
Luke pops out and asks, "Sarah, how do you like your new job?"
