"Follow me," I say and he nods. We go to this old building that no one lives in. After we walk in, he flips on the light switch making the light fixture that is in the middle of the room lit up.

"So what do you want to talk about?" He asked.

"Well I wanted to ask you if your mom was acting weird too," I said.

"I'm glad I'm not the only one," he said and then smiled.

"Well ever since Danny left she hasn't been the same and now she's acting weirder than before," I explained. I was glad to have someone to understand the situation, someone to talk to.

"What? Danny left? Where did he go?" He blurted out the minute I finished.

"I forgot to tell you?" He nodded. "Well one day he wanted to show me something and he went to the edge of the woods. I said that we shouldn't be there but he ran in, and asked if I was coming. I said no of course, but he hasn't shown up. I'm scared. What if he died and it's my fault?"

"Hey, it's not your fault. If he died, there is nothing you could do about it," Luke stated.

"I guess you're right," I reply, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something bad happened to Danny.

"Well if that's it I think we should head back while its slacking off," he said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"The rain it has started to slack off," he explained.

"Oh yeah, let's go back while we can," I said. He gave me a smirk.
