Only then did she ask, "Where is Danny?"

"Um well that's the thing," I reply.

Before I have a chance to explain there was a blood curling scream that came from outside.

We both ran strait outside only to realize that the scream was from the village, not the woods. There was a girl on our front yard. There was a knife sticking out of  her chest.

I ran back inside feeling like I was going to puke, but my mom stayed out and brought the girl to the health center. It was like a small building with beds lined up and all of the health supplies our little town would need.

I knew there was nothing my mom could do besides take the knife out and stitch her back up.

A few hours later, mom comes home with her shirt covered in blood. I don't look at her. And she knows why. She goes change and when she comes back she says, "That girl today..."

"Yeah," I reply.

"The girl was Patricia," she said.

Patricia was my best friend. She and I were friends since we were two years old. Every thing inside me collapsed. I wanted to cry my eyes out, but nothing came out. My best friend gone from this world forever.
