They left Taehyung in Jin's arms and ran to their only boy, Jungkook, who was breathing faintly. The Queen was crying when she noticed the poison eating his baby's body.
She started to chant the spell on him, and when a groan left from Jungkook's lips, it gave Taehyung an unusual power who teleported to him by pushing the king and Namjoon from Jin's lap. Who could not do anything to stop him...
He didn’t harm anyone but the Queen who pushed him in anger but he didn't do anything to harm her, instead he held the hand of Jungkook which was burning like hell, leaving him groaning in pain continuously.
Before Queen and King do anything, a force stopped them in their place and a dark red balloon of light covered them like enclosed them in a red bubble where Taehyung’s lips were chanting something continuously, bringing ease to Jungkook's face with the passage of time.
All of them were silently standing watching them, but two pairs of eyes of Jin caught something a little far behind them. Taehyung’s granny's friend,
"Uncle Jehan???"
Jin murmured the name, but before he could speak, a loud shriek echoed, and the next moment, Jehan was hanging in the air. As Taehyung was the one who held him in the air with just a mere gesture, still sitting there with his mate.
His Jungkook...

Taehyung spoke firmly, and Jehan pulled his knife from his sleeve and stabbed him in his heart, although he didn't want to do it, but a force made him do it.
His body fell on the floor with a thud in his pool of blood, which made everyone present there with mixed emotions, but there was fear lingering in the air that empowered Taehyung, whose eyes glowed more All of them saw the lifeless body of Jungkook coming back to his old condition.
After a few minutes, there was an eerie silence, and Taehyung felt beside Jungkook with a thud that broke the red bubble around them and made the surroundings normal like before, which freed everyone from the unknown spell.
"Taebear... " Jin yelled and ran to Taehyung and made everyone run to them. There was silence all around, and they took their coming king and his mate inside the Palace with their old vampires who ran to check them out.
The scent of ash, blood, and old magic still hung in the air. The war between the vampires and the hunters had ended only moments ago, but for Taehyung, victory meant nothing, not when his mate remained unmoving on the bed in his own room.
