Assalam o Alikum

Ignore the mistakes, please...

Taehyung was too shocked at that moment and glanced at both males in front of him.

Jungkook asked Hoseok to sit down with them for a while to satisfy the curiosity of his little one.

"You mean... i was doing a job under a vampire in the past months? And my boss..." Jungkook smiled that mirror by Hoseok, too.

"It's okay... I'm not harming you. Since start..." Taehyung nodded because it was true he never harmed Taehyung or anyone. Even staff was too happy to work with Hoseok.

"So is there anyone I know... I mean... I met with other vampires, too?" He asked carefully when a waiter walked to their table with their order.

Hoseok stays silent and lets the waiter go back. He looked at Jungkook, who met his questionable gaze and nodded. As he was asking for permission.

"No... but you were surrounded by many as per order of sire. He never left you alone. Because your blood is too light and sweet and attracts many unwanted creatures." The little explanation caught off Taehyung's guard that gave him unknowingly a chill.

Jungkook glanced at Hoseok, who quickly stood up and left them after a bow to enjoy their time in silence.

"Eat up... you're getting thin day by day." The glowing red eyes staring at the blue-haired boy who nodded nonetheless and started eating but a gush of wind touch his nape as someone was standing there.

He quickly looked at Jungkook, who was also staring at his behind but didn't speak, and the whole scene changed in a blink of Taehyung, who looked puzzled after looking around.

The chandelier above cast a dim, golden glow across the grand. Antique furniture lined the velvet carpeted floor, and the air smelled faintly of aged wine and something older, earthly, metallic... like blood soaked into stone.

A fire cracked in the marble hearth, casting long shadows across the floor. In the centre, two figures sat across from one another - one regal, otherworldly, with eyes like spilt ink; the other, a young man with an uneasy stillness in his posture.

The vampire King, draped in a tailored black coat with a silver clasp shaped like a serpent, studied his companion with an unreadable expression. His hand rested lightly on the human's wrist, a touch too cool, too still.

"You seem... distracted," the ravenette said softly.

The blue-haired boy blinked, fingers twitching slightly. A memory - or maybe a dream - clawed its way through the fog of his mind. The scent of iron. A locked room. He is a lullaby in a language he shouldn't understand.

"I... I've been here before," the human whispered, frowning. "But I never come here."

Jungkook's lips curled into something between a smile and a snarl. "Some memories take time to bleed through."

The fire snapped loudly. Somewhere behind them, a bell rang - but no footsteps followed.

Taehyung shivered. It wasn't cold. It was making him uncomfortable. He was not so scared, but still, the calmness was not in his body.

The fire burns lower. Shadows writhe on the walls, elongating like fingers. Taehyung became pale, dressed in a borrowed suit rubs his temples, breathing shallowly.

"There was a hallway. I ran. Someone was chasing me... but... it wasn't a dream." The blue-haired boy finally saw himself there. As he saw him in a dream,

"No. It wasn't." Jungkook speaks low and richly. He leans forward, the firelight catching the sharp jawline of his face. His eyes hold centuries of sorrow and hunger.

"You came here once, long ago. Before you were mine. Before your memory was... trimmed." He completed finally... his heart was asking him to spill all of his miseries to his human mate. Because his mind was telling him to trust completely.

"Trimmed? You mean erased?" Taehyung stared at him to see if something was hidden in those crimson eyes, but it gave him chills as there was just the truth.

Jungkook said nothing for a while.

A log collapses in the fireplace. Sparks dance upward like fleeting souls.

"Why don't I remember? What did I see?" He thought for a while and mumbled, but it was clear to be heard by the vampire in front of him.

Jungkook rises slowly, graceful as a ghost, and circles behind the blue-haired boy. His voice is a breath near the ear.

"You saw what no human should see. A court beneath the earth. Blood oaths. Betrayal.

You saw me... at my worst."

Taehyung grips the armrest, knuckles whitening. A flicker of something fear? Recognition?-passes across his face.

"I remember... a crown. Not gold. Thorns..."

"Yes. Forged from the bones of traitors. It was your idea." Jungkook chuckled at the memories.

"My idea?" Taehyung was shocked and turned sharply at the ravenette.

"You were my seer. My first and only consort, my mate before too. And when the war came-when they turned against us-you chose to forget. You made me take it from you." Jungkook smiled faintly at the innocent doe eyes who were staring at him without fear.

"So... what now?" Taehyung finally broke the silence after some moments as he was gulping down the unseen past information about the King and about him? Was he with Jungkook from the start? His mind was messy at that time.

"Now? We wait." Jungkook sat in his chair, but soon the atmosphere changed back to the same place where it was all started from. The same VVIP section of the same hotel where they were having dinner.

But a smile was adorning the thin red lips of the ravenette who was happy to share his lonely after centuries. Taehyung was amazed at that time because he remembered every single thing they talked as Jungkook was doing it on purpose, telling him about his past, it means...

He was trusting him fully now...
