Here I am as I promised...

Assalam o Alikum

Taehyung stayed. Through the rising moon and bleeding dawn, he held Jungkook's hand, whispering memories, apologies, a bond that tied their souls sparked faintly every time his voice trembled.

When the second night arrived, the winds changed. The poison weakened, loosening its icy grip. Jungkook’s fingers twitched beneath his mate.

"Jungkook..." Taehyung froze and was about to walk out to bring someone.

"Tae..."  he rasped.

He broke, leaning over him, tears spilling freely.

"You came back." Tears were flowing in the blue-haired boy's eyes whose eyes were crimson like Jungkook’s.

"I heard you calling. Even in the dark… I followed your voice."

His hand lifted weakly, brushing his mate's cheek.

Taehyung pressed his forehead to his. "Don’t ever leave me again."

He managed a faint smile. "Not even death could make me. After all, I found my mate after years."

"I'll not be able to come back there. But thanks to you all... for caring and protecting me." Taehyung was sitting on the couch in his old house. Bogum was still sitting, head hung low in shame.

"Jin hyung... I'm sorry about what happened to you. I thought it was a good decision by Jungkook at that time. I was worried for you, but... thanks for everything, hyung." He was holding Jin's hand who was crying silently with Taehyung’s granny who was smiling at him.

"I'll miss you more."

"Hyung... just call me and I'll be there for you." He winked and hugged his granny.

"Thanks for taking care of me and saving me." She smiled with her wrinkled face and hugged his baby bear.

"I never thought you'd be a vampire. Your mother was a foreigner she had beautiful green eyes. I thought she had them from inheritance, but when she died, we couldn't find her body. Even my son tries to find him. Well... I found you in the end. But you have never done anything unusual since childhood." She frowned in the last, but Jungkook smiled at her.

"He was secured by some spell for years. Mom tells us." She nodded and hugged both with an emotional face.

"Granny, we'll visit often." Jungkook smiled at her, who nodded and kissed Taehyung’s forehead lovingly and faced Jungkook.

"Sorry for all of this chaos. It was because of me, when I took Taehyung to Jehan." Jungkook shook his head and smiled at her.

"It was a good thing that I got him back because of you. He was radiating some energy, but I waited for him patiently to see if he was my Taehyung or not. Let's not talk about it."

She nodded and hugged him.

"I will never be afraid of vampires after seeing them this close. They're nice and even nicer than humans who are manipulated and deceive their own close ones." She stated the fact, but it hit different for Bogum, who walked out of there.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung, who nodded and went to him to clear things up.

Taehyung walked to Bogum, who was standing in the small lawn of the house. Many things change, the lawn which had frightened him with an eerie silence in the night, now the sound of vehicles was echoing in his mind as per his sharp senses which made him restless.
